All of the issues you pointed out, Deputy Burton, can & may be sorted out by countries working as 'the EU', but only with the inclusion of democracy. Suppose there was a dire need for Europe to go to war, or introduce very severe laws to solve some other problem, ... we can still do any of these things, and in each case PEOPLE CAN BE TRUSTED TO VOTE IN A REFERENDUM (ONCE IS ENOUGH) AND MAKE ANY TOUGH DECISIONS NECESSARY.

It's going to take some work, but let's introduce democracy to the EU.

What a joke. Global warming is a fallacy. Anthropogenic climate change is a lie and if you knew what you were talking about you wouldn't be pedalling such an egregious deception. 33,000 scientists and climatologists in the US alone can't be wrong. And a bigger beurocracy won't prevent the traffiking issues as suggested and furthermore the loss of our sovereignty to a supranational oligarch controlled superstate won't solve the problem. 1 small point. WE ALREADY VOTED NO, and will do so again.

We will only have neutrality as long as we are a sovereign state, once we become a state of europe Ireland as a sovereign will no longer exist. THEY KNOW IT , I KNOW IT AND NOW YOU KNOW IT.

Winston Churchill did not support British membership of the EU. He was in favour of the French & Germans linking up to stop them fighting each other (3 wars in less than 100 years) Eisenhower had US interests at heart, not those of independent European nations. George Orwell was a mason, who cares what he supported. Who am I? I am a person that respects individual freedom & liberty and the right not to be oppressed. You however support state oppression. You haven't worked it out yet have you?

The nation state will protect even people like you. The concept that the nation state is bad is the ideology of tyranny and you have fallen for that one hook, line and sinker.
