  • omg i just realised that this music is in Donnie Darko (:

    great film btw

    xoxo

  • good film.

  • it's like David Lynch or Stanley Kubrick...good job, extraordinary movie! I love it! 5 stars!!!

  • i LOVE stanley kubrick (:

  • my 2 heroes!

  • i kinda like it, it has a creepy feeling

  • great little movie - agree with miss priss about the film documenting movement through different forms and mediums and the different contexts in which movement can be viewed. Such as the burning building juxtaposed with fireworks (how two elements of beauty i.e. the fire in both shots, signfy a different meaning or use.

  • Hi! I just came across your film while looking for inspiration for my final piece in film and tv. we have to make a short experimental film. anyway really liked this. where did you find these tracks? my interpretation - this is about movement. recognised the ad for the laser printer lol

  • enjoyed watching this :]

    i like the fireworks

  • Preety cool

  • hey my name is Will MacBride (no joke) and I just put up a short experimental film I made as a response.

  • The beginning is great. The dark shaky style, with the high contrast. But I don´t like the end. The music and the Balls...

  • funny i feel just the opposite. I like the balls and the end music, the earlier part was more boring.

  • i like the driving and fireworks, but you lost me at the fire...it felt a bit drawn out there. But sweet overall, it inspired me to do a film, too.

  • this is cool. almost like a weird dream. Check out my film "shutter" and lemme know what you think. somewhat similar to this

  • Ha My name is Will MacBride and I made a short experimental film. Hi Phil McBride. Check it out.

  • Hey, I like this. I agree with Dimitri in that even a short "idea" like a focus in through a window to stop on object or person ect.. would make even nicer. Like it!

  • I think the music takes most of the credit for this.

You should try some idea-based experimental with same effects, that would be very interesting.

    good job!

  • very good. what camera did you use, dude?

  • Could you possibly tell me the artist and title of the first track? It's duh-reamy!

  • Its taken from the soundtrack for the film Donnie Darko. Can't remember the name of the actual piece at the moment but its composed by Michael Andrews. The entire soundtrack is absolutely amazing, worth checking out.

  • Thanks for the info, good to know. I've seen that movie two years ago, but I can't remember any track having blown me away on it. Guess I just had no taste two years ago.

  • Mad World, by Gary Jules

  • thats one of the tracks from the Donnie Darko soundtrack but not the one I used.

  • @rekluziv it's called carpathian ridge

  • Beautiful. I love the Brian Eno.
