The NRA needs [someone like] Larry Potterfield as their main public figure. If I saw less of Nugent and more of Larry I would join in a heartbeat. I feel strongly that the second amendment should not be used as a political shuttlecock, it is a right not a privilege to possess and bare firearms. There should be no debate, it's not about the left versus the right it's about what we are entitled.

I'm a midway customer since '06 and round up on every single orders, couple cents won't hurt much. Forget donation to the church...I'd give the NRA ;p

I am a proud member of the NRA and I can tell you this . When I get my tax return in this year not only will I be buying a lot of stuff from MIDWAY USA but I will definitely be giving a sizable contribution as well.Every penny counts when it comes to taking away your right to defend your self.Take your right to defend and you are on your way of repeating history with the mass slaughtering of the JEWS . I will be damned if I am going to let that happen in this FREE COUNTRY.

why do americans get so pent up about the second amendment? if it was changed so much that it really upset people then theres enough people with guns in the country to change it by force.

p.s. its always misquoted it says "ANY WELL ORDERED MILITIA has the right to bear arms"

We get pent up about the 2nd for the same reasons we'll get pent up if other amendments such as the 1st and 4th are trod on; the first 10 amendments in the Bill of Rights are permanent, absolutely supreme laws and not subject to change.

The intent of all 10 amendments are identifying rights of the people that are pre-existing (these rights are not granted by anyone but assumed as existing and inherent to every individual from birth to death) and identifying limits to government power.

I always round up when I shop at MidwayUSA. Usually, I'll add an extra buck or two on top of that, as well. I tend to prefer to shop there just so that I can send a few extra bucks off to the NRA.

This way I can say that I do support the NRA, and that I give them money to help support the second amendment. I don't, however, have them sending me letters asking for more money, since I'm not officially a member.
