I know how you feel I wish the Flyers had won. If you stop thinking about it you will get over it. It took me maby about a couple of days and after that I was still a litttle sad. But after that you just hope your team win the cup next season.
@AddiePalePotatos I was sad when the Flyers lost but alll had could do is wait until the next season starts. Canucks are a good team so I think they will win soon. I also think the flyers will win soon. The only thing we can do is wait until next season. It might take a while to get over it but we just have to wait.
@AddiePalePotatos For me I will never think of Chicago the same way again. Once hockey comes around you should feel much better, the Canucks are still amazing and should get your mind of it.

@zacandashleys1fan I feel with the emergence of Crosby and the Penguins our rivalry with the Rags and Devs have kind of slowed down. The CLassic will boost us with the Rags, going to be a lot of drunks fighting out it the cold!
@NuclearPotatoSalad I still think the Rangers and Flyers had a bit of a rivalry this season. A lot of the games involved one team MASSIVELY dominating the other. So I'm definitely looking forward to next year's WC- and not just because Crosby isn't involved again.
@zacandashleys1fan It will be great. Being a STH I'll go to the game, and I am happy it is happening at Citizens Bank Park and not the Linc. Neither really have good history, but it is still a fun venue. 24/7 is going to be fun too, seeing all the new Flyer faces

Now whether or not the former thrashers are going to be a winning team in a much colder environment is a different question, I'm sure.

They could've been doing well with a fan base that was more than enough to keep them alive, but then, say for example, they made it to the eastern/western conference final and 10,000 more people jump on just for the sake of saying "the team I like is doing well!"

@JGigs93 Actually Jaromir Jagr helped Pittsburgh win 2 stanley cups in 91 and 92 and still plays Great hockey, Max Talbot is the Reason why Pittsburgh won it in 09 He scored both Pittsburgh Goals in Game 7,Mike Richards only had 1 Assist all 2011 playoffs Jeff Carter Only had 2 or 3 goals in the Playoffs, Thats What im Saying.

And when it was up to Jagr to captain the Pens to a stanley cup he FAILED. The Pens won those stanley cups because of Mario Lemieux. As for Talbot, you're right he's a clutch playoff performer but you guys overpaid for a 4th liner. The Flyers made it to the Stanley Cup Finals with Richards and Carter. How the Flyers organization thought it was a good idea to blow the team up is beyond me.
