  • Addendum: Video was of 2009 plants that self-seeded from 2008 seedlings transplanted from a wildflower garden we master gardeners were tending. Natives don't generally like to be transplanted. But if you get the seedlings while very young, they do quite well. This summer, 2010, and the whole front yard is full of self-seeded Partridge pea plants! The State wildflower, Coreopsis (Tickweed) also self-seeds brilliantly. With patience no additional work is needed. I expect 2011 to be spectacular
