  • no one understands why bad things happen.... Yes death is real, just like pain, sadness, but I have found that when I trust God through all things there is a peace that passes all understanding.

Oh, hey, no problem at all.

  • @richwebmodelclub4u

Yeah, makes my eyes burn just watching it...

  • i know this guy in university who mocked christians whenever they invited him to evangelistic concerts. 1 week before he was due to leave for australia, he was invited and he refused again. the christian said as crazy as it sounds i feel have to tell that you never know when death will come for you. the guy laughed and said God is prompting you to tell me that right? the chrisian said yes. he still refused. he died in australia in a car crash 2 week later.

SO? People die every day. Btw, Jerry Falwell apparently loved your god and the evangelical philosophy, and he croaked at his desk while preparing a Sunday sermon. My own cousin was a total evangelical convert and was preparing to be a minister at his local church. He tried to go around a stalled car and was struck head on by a truck coming the other way and died instantly. Where was this god when these things happened? It's all coincidence.

  • @jerico641 j my point is that God foresaw the death of the guy and wanted to save his soul. why did not God prevent your cousin's death ? only God knows.jerry falwell was at best decieved believer at worst a false teacher who knowingly distorted God's Word.

How do you know what your god did or didn't do? Has he communicated to you what his position is regarding YOUR death? Or, hey, mine, for that matter; since we're communicating with each other, maybe you can get some insight on how I'm going to die. I'm glad to hear you feel that way about Falwell, though. It shows at least that you're one step closer to reason and rationality than many other christians. Keep working on it, okay?

  • @jerico641 you are an atheist i presume? when i was 15, a friend told me about Jesus and i told if i experienced a miracle i would convert. when i was 27 years old i experienced my miracle. one year ago, i had a vivid dream of me crashing my car into another car. the following morning i was about to drive to work when i suddenly remembered the dream and felt very uneasy about driving to work. i drove off anyway but had such a strong feeling of dread that i turned back and took public transport.

  • @keeyk118b Your experience proves nothing. Everyone has those thoughts. It's just that you're easily convinced to believe in utter bollocks. I've had vivid dreams that my mind interprets as real time where I have accidents relating to work/commuting etc, but because I am an adult - I dont believe in 'shit'

  • @jerico641 later that day i found out there was 5 car pile up along the route in the morning. coincidence?

  • @keeyk118b

Of course it was. And yes, I'm an atheist. Also, what about small children who contract cancer and have to go through painful, frightening treatments for months (sometimes years), only to die in agony in the end? Where's their miracle? Happens every day. And please don't give me a variation of "god works in mysterious ways" or "we can't know the mind of god"; if your god was real and allowed things like that to happen, but "warned" you of a car crash, he's a sadistic monster.
