  • Very good job!!!

  • This was awesome I love the Velociraptors and the dimetrodon Excellent work!

  • This is a "film you made"? Hari Krishna, this is amazing! Really!

  • Great work.....inspiring.

  • wow, it looks very realistic! NICE JOB MATE! :)

  • What if dinosuars never existed, something the govt. just made up to support evolution? ever think of that? i still believe in dinosaurs though just sayin

  • I want u to be my teacher 0w0

  • Weren't some of these used in "Jurassic Attack"?

  • @gyrrakavian No, this is all original work done by me, although we may have used some of the same species.

  • @rikmills Oh, sweet!

  • jurrasic park, anyone?

  • Really great work man! I was impressed. Excellent lighting, animation & rigging. How long (Approx) did it take you to model, texture, rig, animate & composite one skeleton? =)

  • @Glyph2040 It took about 2 days for each of them but some, like the T-rex, took a little longer as it required more detail, especially in the skull. Thanks for the great comment and I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

  • @rikmills oh, that's cool! Probably in Canada it might be 10 bucks more. Thnx for telling me! Keep up your wonderful work!

  • @rikmills oh, ok I think the animation and lighting you did on this was excellent! But what does £ mean? I only understand $ aka the dollar sign

  • @XxTheReptileGirlxX Ahh, it's just the symbol for British money (pounds). So £50 equals about $78 US.

  • @rikmills OUCH!!!!!! Ok now that is waaaay to expensive! How much did the other program cost you? Or was it free?

  • @XxTheReptileGirlxX The latest version of Max is about the same as Maya but I'm using an old version (10 years old) that I picked up on Ebay for about £50. You might find an older version of Maya on there if you're lucky, and Maya is much better for animaion (both ILM and Pixar use it :o).

  • How much does maya cost?

  • @XxTheReptileGirlxX The latest version (Maya 2012) is about $3,500.

  • is it really better to use 3ds Max rather than Maya?, i'm using maya back at home doing this types of stuff .

  • @Raphael041 No, Maya is better but I can't afford it so I'm just using Max.

  • best vid ive seen yet

  • wath programs?

  • That is amazing, it must have taken you so long to model and move so many bones.

  • Did the film have dino bones coming back to life? XD

  • very good other than the trex roll thing lol

  • Are they not going to be fleshed out, or is it some kind of zombie dino film?

Looks really cool though, so far.

  • 0:16

    Like a boss

  • Amazing work.

  • the jumping ruins it

  • prettty cool bro pretty cool

  • Wow, they look real!

  • I... love dinosaurs.... MAKE MORE VIDEOS!!!!!!!

  • Zombie skeleton dinosaurs?

    yeah.... youre fucked....

  • That's os awesome!

  • Sooo awesome :D

  • I love how you make the bird-hipped dinosaurs more quick and darting, while the lizard hipped dinosaurs more slow and smooth.

  • Really great stuff. The animation is perfect and the walking cycles also great. Is the film going to be your "resume" to get into pixar or something?

  • how do you do this and in england (i live in ireland) where do you go to learn to do stuff like this ?really nice

  • Oneyng sends me to epic shtufz.

  • wow...

Talk about the land of the undead... O_O

  • could you make a game?

  • I frikkin' love that Dimetrodon ( even though it wasn't a dino lol). XD

  • why are they all skeletons?

  • bellissimo

  • raptor.

  • can you get these models anywhere in 3ds max format ?

  • Dam ... you're good.

  • This is beautiful. The movements are so vivid and realistic, and not blocky like others I've seen. *That first raptor, do their heads jolt forward that much when walking? Somehow, the predators are less intimidating in skeletal form.

This is something I'm really interested in. I'm going to be taking animation courses in college so I'm pretty excited about doing stuff like this. It defintely looks time-consuming, but in the end it's beautiful to look at.

  • Cool work. I would love you share your rigs so other animators can use them for their reels

  • Hi we are creating a Jurassic Park fan Film!

we need a lot of help to create this.

    So join our team please.

We need you if you are a

    ANIMATOR

    MODELER

    RIGGER

    SKINNER

and so on.Write us if you would like to join us.

  • Dinosaur skeletons come to life? sounds like Triassic Attack all over again but with more dinosaurs.

  • The second animation wasn't a dinosaur,

  • nice

  • This is fake...

...haha just kidding. Very very nice work dude... (You got 2 'very', first time I say that on youtube)

I'm gonna start studying this next year. That's gonna be awesome... :)

  • Absolutely phenomenal. Thanks for posting the vid, I really enjoyed it.

  • *applause* Very well animations. very well!

  • Terrific work just one teensy thing; What is up with all the tail wiggling? I can understand that you didn't want them to be held out stiff like they were made out of cardboard or something but the tail movements bother me.

  • It's sorta even more awesome that they're skeletons - Dinosaur Ghosts!! Can we see it after you flesh them out?

  • amazing O.O

  • Look great! I like it^^

  • AAAHHH! SKELLETON DINOSOURS IS ATTACKING!!!!*runs and hides*

    ( awsome video^^)

  • love the movement of 0:03 really nice

  • Cool!

    Good work!

  • Seeing as I have tried computer animating myself, I understand the difficulty of it. I give you credit.

  • man this is awesome! did u ever thought about adding skin on the skeletons?

  • that motion is better than most anything i've seen. That rex doing that crouching walk is phenomenal.

  • I for one have seen A LOT of dinosaur 3D animations on YouTube. Not sure why. But this is by far THE BEST one on here! Great work! Beautiful animation and modeling. Love it!

  • Very nice, very nice! Did you model, rig and animate? The animation is very solid. The models are great. Good overlapping motion. Good work.

  • The only thing, (And a very random one) is when the Tyrannosaur rolls over is, "Roll over boy! :D"

  • Wow, this is really good. Now just don't try and claim that the Dimetrodon is a dinosaur and I'll be happy.

    HONK. :o)

  • what's it gonna be called?

  • You're good at this. Very good.

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING

  • You know that new SyFy movie, Triassic Attack? Why is it that this person's walking skeletons are better? (Other than the fact that SyFy is moronic in every imaginable way)

  • no words...i am speechless my friend....i mean dis stuff is better than jurassic park movie...wow..amazed by des scenes..nd thnk u guys for still keeping ur animation in stream, coz wen people see des kind of videos, it enhances their inner skills....superb..subscribed....

  • Is there some way to use these dinos in another movie? Could I somehow steal and use these in another film, because they're wayyyyyy to awesome to leave behind.

  • You had me hooked with the clicking of the first cycle lol

  • the animation is excellent, but the arms (it is best signifficant on the raptor) are wrongly articulated, the palms sould face each other, also, you should not use t-rex's tail for a raptor, the tail is completely different, and i also don't think the dimetrodon moves like it would in reality. it had splayed legs, you might do the movement after a comodo dragon, it should move like a typical lizard and not like a dinosaur with upright legs ;-)

  • This is amazing work, I was wondering, this is something I'd like to do for a career, what classes do you recommend I take?

    Once again though, absolutely fantastic

  • @acheron14 Hi dude, thanks for the comment. I'm not sure about the USA but here in the UK you can do a BA (Hons) in Computer Animation. It's a 3-4 year full-time degree that covers every aspect of cgi animation. I'm sure you'll have something very similar over there.

    Thanks again. :o)

  • this is fuckin epic you are a genius

  • fantastic job men, really good ligths too :)

    greattings from chile

  • you should be by ILM (or something even better) i just know those guys ^^

  • when is film out

  • @RockTalk88 This year if everything keeps going as it is. I'll post an update soon.

  • @rikmills your gonna add flesh right? i mean just bones remind me of night @ the muesum. overall very nice

  • @rikmills Oohh Gawd!! Please Send me a Message as soon is the Film's Done, Okay? I will totally Anticipate it LOL

  • Extraordinary ! Really credible; i'm fan of your Work !

I'm impatient to see your new videos... :-)

I wish you a long, long and happy career in yout Art !

Extraordinaire ! Vraiment crédible; je suis fan de votre Travail !

Je suis impatiente de voir vos nouvelles vidéos... :-)

Je vous souhaite une longue, longue carrière dans votre Art !

    Warm regards,

    Vigdys

  • @vigdys Merci mon ami! Vous sont très aimables.

    Bonne journée! :o)

  • These are fantastic, good job. I'm just curious as to why there is a dimetrodon mixed in with a load of dinosaurs...

  • @insanetimelord It is a bit anachronous but they're one of the coolest looking prehistoric creatures so I sneaked them in the back door. Shhh, don't tell anyone. :o)

    Thanks for the comment dude.

  • @insanetimelord well that at lest makes sense what about the mine chart lol

  • Woah!! Incridable Work!!!

  • that....was....AMAZING!

  • dammm nice

  • Fantastic!

  • Nice, but why are they all skeletons?

  • this is the coolest thing i've seen before

  • My only criticism is that some parts of the dinosaurs are too stylised, did you make the models or buy them?

  • DUDE!!!

  • great work..

  • Excellent animation! How did you do that?? IK Rigs? Physics?

  • @alphalink Hi dude, no, neither. It's all just bog-standard keyframing (FK not IK). I'm only using Max3 so the physics is pretty lame and rigging is my weakest discipline so I always just do everything in FK. I'm glad you liked it though, thanks for the comment. :o)

  • @rikmills

I use Maya :D Im very impressed with this! Looks way to smooth to simply be FK! Keep up the awesome work, Im def subscribing

  • OW SHIT! THAT AWESOME!!!!

  • You need a t. rex and alamosaurus fight. Those are the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park Visitors Centre.

  • Comment removed

  • Duse, that's awesome!

  • @Thomaszz85 Dank kerel! :o)

  • @rikmills Vergeleken met jouw skills vallen die van mij een beetje in het niet hè? Ernstig cool.

  • Hey, this would be a cool plot for a FanFiction story! Would it be okay if I used this idea and write a story about dinosaur skeletons from your idea?

  • @Tyraka628 sure dude, it's a free country. :o)

  • @rikmills: Thanks!

  • You're making a movie of this? where can I find it? it looks awesome!

  • Looks amazing

  • omfg freaking awesome!!

  • this is good, did you use the motions from previous films and such like walking with dinosaurs and Jurassic park, a lot of the movements seemed the same, props looks great

  • @chuckie3542012 No I just made it all up (I wish I could animate as good as those guys :o)

  • How did u do this, it's so awesome

  • @WEBZBMWM1 thanks a lot dude!

  • This is like Night at the Museum!! Rexy's kin!

  • i love how the dimetron walked!

  • how did you make it ,just the thing i wanted to do

  • totally awesome !!!

  • The animation is incredibly well done, you must be a professional

  • @Meersohn7 Hey thanks a lot dude, that's an awesome comment! I'm not a pro but hopefully one day.

  • what is the name of the movie

  • @patrickm322 It doesn't have a name yet but 'Pain in my ass' would be quite appropriate! :o)

  • cool stuff can you give me a link to witch program you used?

  • @mrNOGunNOFun Thanks dude. Yeah it's 3D Studio Max, I can't post the link (youtube won't let me) but just google 3d studio max and it's top of the list, or just go to the autodesk website.

  • 0:00 woooooww deinonychus

  • =D That was cool! Great job!

  • You my friend, have earned my subscription!

  • you are going to be hired for the next jurrasic park.

  • your shit is dope. i love the gait and secondary animation on the demetredon

  • could you send me 1 of them ani, ations to use in a short any would do

  • freaking amazing! I want to see this short film! When should it be done?!

  • @LabRatProductions1 it's not going to be short. he told me it was going to be 1 hour and 40 minutes

  • k dude that is amazing

  • @JuStCaUsE1995 Thanks a lot dude. Have a happy holiday!

  • What's the film going to be called? It looks extremely interesting!

  • wow... its all i can say...

IF you made games id say make operation genesis 2... but thatd never happen lol

  • hei ,can you please tell me what max r3_r7 -r4 is?

  • @MrBilalhaidar Sure, max refers to 3D Studio Max, a 3D modelling & animation program, and r3 and r7 refer to the release (or version) of the software.

  • you should have helped with "Triassic Attack"

a syfy film with dinosaur skeletons coming to life

    (T-rex, Velociraptor, Pteranodon)

You would have made it awesome!

  • what rating would the movie be?

  • @ZillaFighter123 Rated 'A' for Awesome! :o) No, there's no swearing, nudity, drug use or violence so probably PG.

  • @rikmills ok so then how much stuff have you done for the movie? how much more stuff will you need to do? in easier words: have you finished a script, have you started filming?

  • that was awesome

  • This was really cool. I'm guessing it took you a long time to make each of these. Does it take even longer to add skin, muscles, and flesh and that's why you didn't include them?

  • @GamingGenius Thanks dude! The movie I'm making is about dinosaur skeletons in the ground that come alive and go on the rampage, so they have to be skeletal and not 'fleshed'. I think it takes about the same time to model a skinned creature as it does for a skeletal one, as each of the bones had to be built separately. Exactly the same to animate though. Thanks for the comment, take care! :o)

  • This is like better animations than those

people who call themselves as experts in my country LOL

  • wow this is the kind of stuff i dream to be able to make , one day ay :)

  • My fav is the stegosaurus without a doubt

  • NOw, add flesh and skin and you are GOD

  • you have talent be prowd

  • @TrT388 Thanks dude! Have a GggrrRRreat day! :o)

  • @rikmills how many subjects u have in ur cg school...may i assume modelling, texturing, lighting, animating, compositing ...can u please educate me how to begin with a career for this?sorry for mistake in english but i realy want to learn about it..please give some tips n i ll start learning

  • @VrexHunter Yeah, I'm using lions and tigers etc, but with the pitch lowered and some bass rumble added. Sounds pretty good. :o)

  • you make all these skelet's?

  • @mrsupermega Yup.

  • @VrexHunter Hi dude, I don't know to be honest. I'm working flat out on it but there's still quite a bit to do. I'm getting there though and what's completed so far looks really good (sounds arogant doesn't it? :o). I'll post another update pretty soon. Thanks for the comment. Take care!

  • what is the film you're making callled? i must see it!!! amazing animations!!

  • @funstuff8s It doesn't have a title yet, I'll probably just use a phrase from the screenplay. Thank you very much for the great comment and I'm really glad you like it so much. Take care! :o)

  • I want looking this in the cinema ._.

It's so awesome... could be from the producers of Jurassic Park (but better!)

  • @Yegitu000 Dank viel! Ich bin glücklich, weil Sie das Video mögen. Mach's gut.

  • what kind of program did u use

  • @joaquination14 3D studio max r3 for the animation, max r7 for the rendering and combustion r4 for the compositing.

  • this is like the coolest ever and why are they all skeleetons

  • @MrFreeza66 Thanks very much for the comment dude! They're all skeletons because the movie is about a bunch of dinosaur skeletons that come out of the ground (kinda like zombies) and go on the rampage.

  • Wow that's incredible. As learning 3D animation myself I know this talent isn't easy to come by. I mean really, everything here from the models to the rendering, and the models themselves are hugely impressive. Not only was the actual dino animations good, but the camera movement was great too - I can't actually tell if it's animated or recorded. You better be applying for a professional job! I wouldn't want to see this talent go to waste! (Unless you enjoy it more as a hobby, of course.)

  • @Spyder638 Awesome comment man, thank you very, VERY much!! :o) Have an awesome day!!
