Seriously JudeMaris your videos allow us to peer back into history like no other. The old statues are really my favorites, I never tire of watching them.
@ahmedzs1 okay, i can tell your white. ANYWAYS BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL, and you white ppl will think this is crazy and stupid but your ancestors far far faaaaaaaaaaaar back were black africans just to let you know, so when you white ppl make stupid comments go ahead tease yourself but judgement day you will be reunited with your whole family and ancestors.
@the4beautiful what?? u better shut up, dont reveal your low mentality to the people; so they dont laugh at you. as you know, making fun of people is not permited; dont force people to do it. have fun exploring black history and enjoy next black history month.happy black history month in advance. it would help you discover sub-saharan culture achivement.
@ahmedzs1 another one of those inferior sub saharan spewers. west africa has great kingdoms and history all on its own. regardless, you seem like a self-hating egyptian.. you hate the fact your native to africa and being lumped with your ancestors.
That was really lovely. As an archeaologist, I have often wondered about the true appearances of the royal Egyptians, as the statues and imagery at the time was two dimensional and very formulaic.Your depiction was extremely well done and may well be entirely accurate. Thank you for posting this.
Good reconstruction however this is based on a wooden statue that has darkened over time. There is however some rremnants of a lighter colored paint still visible on the actual statue.
She was a very beautiful woman. Thanks for sharing this with us. I love anything to do with Egypt and their culture has always intrigued me. Maybe someday I will make it there. I think Egyptian people are beautiful.
Many times the image you work your artistry on becomes someone I wish I could talk to, It's not that you make them life-like but you give them a personality.
This is wonderfully well done, the sensuality of the music, and the respectful tone with which this production was made, in my opinion put it in a category of its own. The close attention to details, and the continuity of the Ramesoid style makes it one of my favorites to date. Its very easy to get this wrong. But this work is outstanding. Ahmose-Nefertari herself would be proud. Thanks for posting.
Wow Mel, I've said it before but I'll say it again, you have awesome skills with photoshop. I just love what you did with this one and information that you add.

I wonder if you could do Kleopatra VIII, Kleopatra Selene II, or Ramses II's beloved, Nefertari. It's hard to find sculptures of them, though.
