I LOVED this! Your demeanor, humor and great storytelling abilities made me feel my southern Grandmother was telling me a story. Smiled the whole way through. After being forced to watch white flight attendant videos for inspiration, this was very refreshing. My ears just drank lemonade in 110 degree heat. :)

so funny...went through training in 1995 and they still were teaching us about napkin folds and how to set the first class tray table and wines plus makeup class, which made those of us of color look like either clowns or hoes. I had graduated from college too and it was the first job I got and I'm still flying. Not much has changed either. No matter how nice I am someone who is not use to people of color will automatically think I have an attitude even as I smile in their face.

that was so nice to watch i could have carried on. She's so write though, im waiting for training with British Airways here in London and the whole reason im doing it is to broaden my horizons. Cant wait to start those 6 weeks and be in the air.
