They don't really have one. They can use Burgundian Lancers and Lombard Berserkers, but there's no "Alemanni Spearmen" or anything in the original BI

The Allemni are very difficult to play in early game because the WRE uses a lot of of it's military might to attempt to conquer. In most of my games, it generally is horded rather quickly.

I was reading on Wikipedia about how you can fiddle with one of the game files on the original RTW to make playable un-playable factions. Is this true and can the same be done with Barbarian invasion?

Ive got two computers. one i play RTW and the other i capture. The connetion goes through my s-video cable. i use nero to capture the video. RTW comp is 2.2 ghz and capt 1.8ghz
