Wow. I just convinced my parents that a bernese is right for us. Our dog just died so we need a new one soon.

Could you maybe message me or reply to this comment and let us know how you like your bernese? You know, how his temperament is and how much care he needs. That sort of thing? That would help us out so much! That dog is my dream dog!

Real nice dogs, but quite demanding. Large and clumsy. But a very good family dog. Can be quite a guard dog, but I guess this is individual. Our's are.

Needs a good walk twice a dog to be happy. And is a good worker - dragging carriges etc.

We will be getting a Bernese Puppy in about a week. How do you cope with losing six puppies all at once?

Eight weeks with the puppies is quite laborious. The mother didn't have enough milk - and was not to interested in taking care of them, but shure, it was hard to pass them on to new owners.

If agreements have been made later, I'm afraid we wwould have kept one of the male puppies :( But one bernese is quite enough anyhow... :)

Thanks to Kristin and Ernst for taking so god care of the puppies. We think they are so lovely and so thrustfully. Senita is coming to her father today.

Very cute puppies... It's always sad to send puppies home after watching them grow up.
