Nixon's demise is one of the biggest tragedies on our country's history. His paronia destroyed him. Otherwise, this was a man who certainly had one of the brighter minds of any president and these tapes show his genuine warmth in his interpersonal commuication with his wife and daughters. In this regard, movies about him have never captured that side accurately. I can understand why his daughters have been disgusted with some biographers.

@ThePrimeDirective I could not agree with you more. I really wish it had never happened. He could have continued his presidency and continue to change our country into a peaceful, compromising one. His name would have been up there with all the greats.
