@marthxike4ever: i caught it when i used a golbat from the building cave place near snowpoint city, who knows mean look, that prevents pokemon from escaping, and then you can attack it. but if you change pokemon it will flee. any damage you do will stay on it.

i had him down to like 1 hp and put him to sleep. plus i used quick balls every fuckin time he appeared. and it still hardly even wiggled! i eventually caught it though, i dont even like him much shoulda killed that son bitch. oh and uxie, that little bitch wouldnt get in the friggin ball after i emptied my bag of them. i had him down like mepsrit too! i just was like screw this im usin master ball!

heres how to get mesprit

1st you have to free them 1st on the right portal of the veilstone building.

then you have to beat team galactic on spear pillar and fight diagla

then look at the cave. mesprit should be there

sometimes mesprit visits Azelfs and uxies caves. If then u still cant find her go to the watch company and talk to the man by the counter 3 times then u'll get somethin to help find her, its called map marker. hope this helps x

Um...u might wanna have a pokemon that knows Mean Look?It'll prevent Mesprit from flying away in a battle...provided your pokemon is faster than it.Then use a pokemon with false swipe or something...

I think you're best bet would be the Ultra Ball. If you plan on catching Uxie and Azelf as well, use Dusk Balls. They work better than an Ultra Ball would in a cave.

Go to Cynthia's grandmothers house AFTER you've seen 149 pokemon. She will show you the picture of Dialga (If you have Pearl) or Palkia (If you have Diamond.

You should be able to get a National Dex after that.

right, i assume youve already defeated/captured dialga seeing as your on diamond, what you do after having done the above is you go to celestic town and you visit that old lady who you gave the charm to and you speak to her, thats it after that you just check your pokedex an your done ! hope this helped :)
