  • you missed two pockets, on the sides right below the shoulder strap anchor points.

it took me a few months to find them myself!

  • Great video - thanks for posting!

  • I just received my MPB from Maxpedition.. I ordered it in Foliage Green, same color as my Falcon II.. but the colors dont match. My Falcon is darker compared to the MPB. Can anyone confirm this?

  • Excellent review! I've had mine for a couple of months are have to say it is as close to perfect as I need. Thanks for sharing~

  • Just got mine. The pictures and video really dont do this bag justice. Its very high quality. Def not big enough for metal form folders but still gonna get a lot of use out of it. It makes a great rugged brief case.

  • I hear this bag is being discontinued. Stores dont seem to have them in stock. And from maxpedition, only black and orange is available.

  • Very nice, ever tryed the maxpedtion sitka???

  • This bag looks big enough for large letter size aluminum form holders. If so, and it was wide enough to hold about three to four, it would be a great seat bag for police. Those seat organizers marketed for police, and other seat bags are an effing joke. This bag is very under rated. All it needs is some molle, and velcro on all that plain front and back, and it would be perfect!!

  • @RuffCuff Certainly large enough for a few alum. folders! I have often thought that adding molle would be useful (though not to much for me). Find a seamstress in your local paper, They can add mollee for cheap! (and it would be custom to your needs)

  • @darb1017 I like lots of molle. You dont need to use it all, but its nice to know you can move stuff around, and the option is there. Just checked out the price... $130.00 is pretty high. I almost looks like it may be too short to close if you put the letter size aluminum form holders. The form holders are usually made a bit longer.

  • @RuffCuff Check out Countycomm[dot]com. Their Maratac Extreme range bag and mid-range bag are great and cost about half as much as Maxpedition

  • Good vid!

What color is this bag? OD green or foliage green?

  • Thanks a lot for this review. Im a big fan of Maxpedition but have never seen this bag. As a deputy i have been looking for a bag like this I think it would work out great. Great review you got my sub.

  • @taclab49 Thanks! I would also recommend you look at the Mongo and the Tactical attaches. Mongo is just like the Jumbo Versipack, but has MUCH more interior space. You can fit a laptop in the Mongo.

  • You do a great review. I am realitively

new to utube. I have enjoyed your video

and am looking forward to a manpedition

    purchase.

  • WOW...I don't know how I have over looked the bag before...Looks like a must have for me...Thanks for sharing..

  • I too am surprised that this bag tends to "Fly under the radar". It is an AWESOME bag that is useful for anything I have used it for; From a Diaper Bag, range bag, suitcase, computer case/briefcase, EDC carry. Tough as nails and doesn't have the "tactical" look that I know some people like to stay away from.

  • Is the bottom of this bag just Cordura, essentially? Great review, very informative!

  • Nice video. I have owned and carried an MPB for 3 years. I was amused by your comment about the two velcro flashlight/etc holders on the front. From the get go, I simply wrapped and fastened them around the handle. I don't velcro the handle together, so this make it stand up and I can grab both at the same time. I concur that this is the greatest bag I have ever owned. Great storage, great flexibility. The last briefcase I will own (unless Maxpedition comes out with a better one)

  • I know this is a weird question, but my wife is tired of diaper bags wearing out and I was thinking that maybe there would be a maxpedition that could work and would be more durable. What do you think? Which model would you recommend as being the best possible candidate as a diaper bag?

  • The MPB could replace her diaper bag, purse, AND computer bag! LOL. I know the MPB makes a great diaper bag, I have used it as such. You also get additional room for snacks, first aid, and some toys.

  • what i think you should do is to put the first aid back where it was and then fill up the other pockets with different things. for example the front can put a laptop pencils pens notepads(represent a work brefcase), the back you can put a gun and mags for a range bag, and put the pocket organizer where you said it can fit, and ontop of the first aid put like ac ompass to represent a B.O.B. and in the main capartment put your clothes for luggage use.

  • Great review there. One question, if you could choose just one bag between this and the operator, which would you choose? 5*

  • Tough call...It would depend on what I am going into, Bug Out, "Passenger bag" or EDC I would say the Operator. Computer office (less tactical look), weekend bag...I would pick the MPB

  • :D!

  • Good vid! I just have one question; how well would this work as a bag for school?

  • Great question. It would be perfect for School, as long as you don't mind a single strap.

  • Ok Thanks

  • DARB!!! REMEMBER ME???? we were talking about some knife or sumtin =) anyways i was going to say that i personally wouldnt use it for school = / but doesnt matter....hehe

  • Ya, I remember ya! As a personal preference, I wouldn't use this for school either. Maxpedition's Falcon II would be a better choice for school.

  • This looks like it would be a great EDC business bag for me. I really like it except for the way I would have to wear it on my shoulder. Waling around in NYC with it would be a pain in the ass after a while. Still it deserves a look.

    Great review.

  • The weight distribution, if carried across your body is quite comfortable. Same side carry is still very comfortable and the shoulder-pad had GREAT grip.

  • I'm not a big fan of MOLLE/PALS type webbing either! Being in the ministry, what I carry needs to be really versatile to be at home in lots of different situations..

  • nice bag, great review. I had a D.D.B back in the day but it wasn't as nice as this one. LOL

  • It really does look like a great bag! The Maratac Extreme Range Bag that CountyComm carries actually has similar features, but MaxPed's looks bigger if that is what someone is looking for.

  • Very similar to the Maratac bag they have. My preference is a more discrete, civilian looking bag. I'm not a big fan of MOLLE/PALS type webbing, but I could sure customize the Maratac. I havn;t seen the 2 bags side by side, but I believe Maxpedition is a little bigger, but Maratac has attachment points that are limitless.

  • As a daily bag, This is pretty big. Buy "luggage" standards it is a nice size carry-on. not to big, not to small.

  • i like the features but i dont like the look of it. Plus its too big to be a bug out bag, because i think you could pack too much stuff into it and make it too heavy to hump around. IMO

  • I want one...that is exactly what I've been looking for. I have a lot of laptop bags / backpacks...all of them have failed me either physically or in application. This is perfect. Thanks for sharing. 5*

  • Damn that is a perfect bag, I gotta pick one of these up for my vehicle bag. Great review as usual man.

  • yes great looking bag, good video

  • Nice review Darb! That bag is HUGE! It's caught my Wife's attention when she walked by and seen it fullscreen.
