  • It would be great if people who support abortion could actually defy all the conclusive scientific evidence, and show me that life doesn't begin at conception. I'm pro-life because life begins at conception, at that point a human being is created. Every human being automatically has a right to life, because they are a human being. No one should kill another human being, no matter how small

  • It's a beautiful message, well done to Youth Defence.

@prochoice below, there was a story in the Irish Independent just weeks ago about an Irish woman who almost died following a so-called 'safe and legal' abortion in a Marie Stopes clinic in Britain. Women's rights my eye, these sickos in the abortion industry don't care about women.

  • haha the baby in this add looks as white as me (an Irish guy) for feck sake even though it's supposed to be representing jesus, who was clearly a brown baby. However in regard to the message of this ad I have somewhat mixed feelings about it, I personally would prefer if the children were born and if they were unwanted by the parents they could make some couple who can't have children very happy. However people act as if a fetus is a human life, when it is merely the potential for a human life

  • I live in Dublin. I've had the misfortune to see a woman almost bleed to death after an unsafe abortion in the eighties. Well done on protecting her life.

    You are defending nobody.

  • 46+ million abortions every year..." God forgive them for they no not what they do"

  • @fairhillnorrie

God by his own direct will has killed half that many supposed "people". Who is he to forgive?

  • @floppykid i dont understand what you mean... can you elaborate.

  • It's the mother's choice, no one else's. This add is actually disgusting on so many levels.

  • @floppykid you would not be alive to make a comment if you were aborted... just sit back and think of that. look around you, your family friends etc... good to see them isn't it??

  • @fairhillnorrie

I wouldn't really care if I was aborted, because I never would have existed as a conciousness. My abortion would have been utterly without consequence for the fetus that I was at one time.

  • i find this disgusting and repulsive

  • @hippo2472 sad

  • Abort it

  • In my personal opinion we could just launch the babies into space to start basics space colonies and find aliens.

  • I was impressed by this video's array of logical, fully-expressed arguments

  • abortion should be up to the mother. you can't compare abortion to killing a human who has already been born for 2 reasons. 1) a fetus hasn't really developed any cognition until the late stages of pregnancy...and even then, it is very very limited and 2) killing a human who is born has no impact on the health of anyone else. a mother takes a risk giving birth, even more so when she is young (as in most abortion cases). to force that risk on her is unethical

  • WOW!!! LIFE IS AMAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZING

  • Just throwing it out there: if Jesus had been aborted, the world would be a much more peaceful place.

  • @HappyToBeContent awh shit I was just about to write that, well said sir!

  • @HappyToBeContent Never a truer word spoken!

  • Just so everyone knows, Youth Defence has played a powerful role in preventing abortion in Ireland and countless humans deserve their thanks for ensuring they came into the world. Keep up the awesome work!

  • Women should have the choice of abortion, circumstances exist that a women may not want the child, due to something as awful as rape for example, who's place is it to tell her she must have that child?

  • @lukehicks2410 Life starts at conception. After the embryonic development, we have the fetal development, the infant development, the childhood development, the adolescence...

I passed through the every previous stages of my development and nobody had any right to kill me when I was at the previous stages of my development. As the same as nobody have any right to kill me now.

We dont't kill rapist, why do you want to allow to kill innocent unborn childs?

  • @LoginPiotr Life does not start at conception! that is a load of bullshit that the church feeds people, scientifically there are 16 weeks before it can be truly called a human! and if you are going to ignore science then your argument is irrelevant anyway so it doesn't make a difference. What happens if the baby is putting the mothers life at risk? should that baby not be terminated in order to save the LIVING mother?

  • @JCJimbob92 To know a simple biological fact we don't need to refer to religion. You ignore the science and the logic. There is only the one moment which is the beginning of ours life: the conception. This was start of my life. Of course at the begining i wasn't conscious of this development, even after birth -when i was an infant- I couldn't realize anything and I can't remember anything - at the first stages I wasn't developed to do it, but I was a human as well as I am a human now

  • @JCJimbob92 Nuremberg Laws of 1935 (For example: laws prohibited marriage between Jews and Germans) had "scientifical" basis: the eugenic. Do you know that sentence "Jews are human" was controversial from a "scientific" reasons? In Youguslavia in 1952 a new law took effect and childs were under the protection of law only after birth AND ONLY after do the first breath. In gynecological surgery was bucket of water and before child could do breath and scream, the child were drowned.

  • @JCJimbob92

When mother's life is at risk, we have to save her and her child and we can't decide who will be killed. We can't kill mother and we can't kill child.

I can't imagine situation that i don't save my child (no matter at what stage of development: embryonic, fetal, infant, childchood etc.), also in danger of my life.

  • @lukehicks2410 If mother don't want her child, mother can give up her child to adoption, but if mother kill her baby, she can regret this for all life (many mothers regret).

Do you know something about these people: Steve Jobs, John Lennon, Nelson Mandela, The Babe, Jamie Fox, Nancy Reagan, Bill Clinton, Jack, J.R.R. Tolkien, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Dave Thomas, Sarah McLachlan, 'D.M.C.' McDaniels, Jesse Jackson, Newt Gingrich, Willie Nelson, Eleanor Roosevelt? -They were ADOPTED

  • I bet that it would take only one unplanned pregnancy to make you wish abortion was legal in Ireland. Once it affects you, you'll change your tune.

  • Very good video!!!! so cute and true :)

  • twinkle twinkle little star, wow~soooooo cute!

  • i hate jesus ..... he killed satan .... he was my best friend ..... jesus than gave me aids... god damn him

  • Whoa.. I got shivers. :D This was awesome!

  • BLESSED CHRISTMAS! II Cor. 5:21

  • @Quinners64: There are tough situations yet, that is when support and compassion need to be shown the most. If a moral society can't protect its most innocent/helpless of all we are truly a sorrowful world. We are made in the IMAGE and likeness of our Almighty Creator. He breathed life into man. His spirit resides in each soul that will LIVE for eternity. Jesus loves the unborn --he actually was one! He has a purpose for each life, all are worthy of our dignity and our respect.

  • Great stuff. merry Christmas

  • Gay

  • @Quinner You invoked the exceptions and these are not sustaining the right to an unlimited individual freedom. The medicine did a tremendous progress in helping ill pregnant women, God is always there for miracles and adoption is always a better option than killing an innocent child. Plus an abortion at least as traumatic as a rape.

  • Outstanding...

  • absolutely lovely, well done Youth Defence

  • I'm sorry I can't agree with this at all! I understand the beauty of life but unfortunately it is the best option. Can you say a mother should have to keep a baby even if giving birth would kill her in the process or why should some poor women be made keep children who are the product of rape, where they mightn't be ready for a child and would be reminded about that day every time she look at her child. I'm sorry for having to say this but I think everyone is untitled to their opinion and this
