microsoft has definitely gotten more greedy lately. i still dont really believe there's even a new xbox coming anytime soon. but the thing about restricting use of used games is believable. for example, dead space 2 and assasin's creed revelations require a code to be put in to play on xbox live even with a paid gold membership to prove you bought the game. otherwise you have to pay to get a pass. its bullshit. if any of these rumors end up being true microsoft loses my business for good

I guess they will set it up like they do for trying to play a game online now and days. . you have to put a " pass code " in when you first start up the game and once its put it the code expires. . thus only good for this one console. & i'm also guessing you will have to have online access at all times so it will register the code so it can't be used again. . . i guess like the last Splinter Cell on PC, were u have to be online " at all " times to even play single player mode

what microsoft changed their mind with dvd? they should have done this on 360 but instead what we got was highly compressed HD texture that requires long load/unneccessary high processing or a 3 hour games. You guys don't realize that gamestop does not share profits on used games with developers ... Gamestop buys a used game from you for $25 and sells it for $54. A new game game stop makes no money thats why they push used. Example, God of war 3 sold 6million new copies, and 2.5 million used within the first release months ... If gamestop hadn't been around sony would of made more off god of war and not have to "lay off" employees. Used game sales may not effect a big dev, but it hurts small ones

@GlamEye Only good bits of DLC i've bought are the Grand Theft Auto IV "expansion packs", that I bought as a disc version. Mass Effect DLC was good, but divided in to way too many peaces IMO, but for Mass Effect 2 they took the EA way and only made a few weapons of which half you had to pay :L

I loved the weapon & armor system that Mass Effect 1 had, but they must have realized that it couldn't be done by dlc, so they made it more generic and made more money (maybe).
