It was the "Mike" shot of operation Ivy, which was the first full scale test of a hydrogen bomb. Its yield was near 10 megatons of TNT. The North Korea test was intended to have a yield near 20 kilotons. Due to errors in calculations, the Korean bomb was a "fizzle" and probably only yielded about 1 kiloton. That's about 1/20,000th the yield of the bomb in this video.
Math note: Rather than 1 kiloton, the Korean bomb yield was actually less according to the USGS. They estimated it to be near 500 tons, or 0.5 kilotons. The math is based on that number.
