Our government let us down, and so did the media who was supposed to keep it real and feed the American citizenry, truth. "Colin Powell seen war..." That's exactly why he was selected to sell the lies and make the case for war. I hate American politics...I only love American citizens.

Is it really that easy to get support for a war in this country? Wow! All you have to do is have a fairly respected military veteran make a presentation to the nation, with misleading visuals and speculative information from a college essay. The mainstream press agrees accordingly and reports their approval to America. That then creates a patriotic-catalyst all over the nation, leaving the general public thinking war is the answer. If this doesn't wake people up, I don't know what will.

dunno how the media treated the subject in US, but atleast outside it was cristal clear that people were misled into the war. UN WMD inspectors had completed inspecting about 80% of all Iraq and bush &co. hurrying to get the war started before they would finish. According to Powel US was supposed to know exactly where the WDM were. So rush into war and not just tip the inspectors?

The worst thing is to see there are many US people who still think the war is alright. Imagine some country attacking US, with the same reasons? So how about some liberation yankees? Just 5-15 years of war all over US with missiles, bombs and everything to get rid of Bush. Hundreds of thousands killed every year and destroying the whole infrastructure back to twenties. A good portion of America is indifferent to the rest of the world. In general, the closer you get to the middle of America, the less "worldly" people get. America needs to change and in a big way because right now, most of America blindly supports our governments recent actions, not good. On top of that, Americans have very little respect or sympathy for other countries, it makes me sick knowing so many of my countrymen have such horrible attitudes.
