@1brokenarm actually even though they are both based around blocks, minecraft is more of a building game and terraria is more of an adventure game. Ya you can build in terraria and adventure in minecraft, but terraria has tons of caverns, floating island, dungeons, and bosses while minecraft has only a handful of mobs and a few "dungeons" that just spawn monsters. On the other hand minecraft has the advantage of the ability to create large 3d building and intricate redstone circuts.
