Thanks for the shoutout! Klazart's novel is awesome. The same level of excitement and intensity that makes people love his commentaries shines through in his novel as well.
im pretty sure he attack clicks on ground that time.. usually id say he right clicks on a unit.. but in the instance regalsc was talking about I thnk it was just Attack on ground and just the way the units were setup allowed the mutas to have 2 targets.
Are you sure? His stack wasn't complete since few mutas had just joined the group as reinforcements so they were in slightly different spots. As of hitting different targets, I'd assume he did it with attackmove instead of targetting specific marines.
It IS amazing muta micro, due to the timing and accuracy, except attacking more than one marine can be done using the HOLD function, instead of the traditional focus fire or ATTACK.
dude... u guys are all wrong.. he right clicks on one marine, and right before the mutas attack it, he presses "h" for hold then pulls the mutas back.. that way he can snipe individual rines out. this move may also lead to the mutas attacking more than one marine.. but the main purpose of pressinng hold is so that the mutas actually attack, and run back before getting too close to the rines' firing line. its not that amazing, its just the normal way to muta micro
I think Terran going for a 14 CC against Zerg should never be considered standard or safe, except on some recent high-macro maps with protected naturals like Loki II or Katrina. Had Savior gone for a 9 pool or even 12 pool, the drone rush probably wouldn't have even been necessary to do some serious economic damage to Flash. I think maybe it was Flash getting too comfortable with early-expanding, 3-hatchery then spawning pool Zerg players that cost him the game. Great commentary as always!
Flash is toying with Savior. Flash is like Micheal Jordan, he can turn his greatness on and off whenever he wants. in game 1, we saw flash playing at about 55-60%, in game 2, hes playing at about 60%, playing @ 90% of his full potential, no one in StarCraft today can match him.
o tournaments with money No pro player sandbags in matches with money on the line. Flash was expecting a more standard build, not a speed ling rush build. The fact that you would even consider the fact that you would even consider sandbagging proves how badly you think of savior and how stupid you are yourself.
I also think flash was toying and overconfidence in tey first 2 games, but he reconsider and also notes that Savior was well trained and then he start to play his best, and like terakin said, in this moment, his best play, is the best in star leagues, and in consecuence crush Savior in the last games, playing long games which is considered that Z has more chances than T to win considering dark swarms in defences and atacks very usefuls, and a lot of resources and fast Z production an adventage
Do you realize how ridiculously low 60% is? Ok, try this. Reduce Terran's attack, health, speed, shield, SCV mining efficiency, ... everything to 60%, and see what happens. The answer: top pros will be losing to amateurs on battlenet.
60% is a joke. But I guess that's what you always get in school, so you think it's still decent.

This is the first time I've seen Savior play like his old self (Game 1 was too timid). Aggressive, good timing, and clean.

Winner of Star Invitational can't defeat Savior who didn't even make out of eliminations? StarCraft is one surprising game indeed:)

Savior has to be the most inspirational Zerg player ever, even if he hasn't performed amazing lately.
And yeah, Savior at his peak > anything I've seen yet.

I think its more of him using attack click on ground rather then on a unit. but if ur right.. it hella tight move =P

he clicks on the individual unit.
