Subaru drive/sound of perrin short ram intake (nothing special)

hi can you please tell the year of your car and if your running any other perforance mods? cause my friends recently installed a perrin short ram intake and it didnt make that BOV sound? thanks

@xSMASHDADSx its a 2006 STi, I believe the car had a HKS Hi-power cat-back exhaust and a stage 1 tune by Cobb at the time. usually any short ram or CAI makes the "bov" sound.

Can the "blow off" be heard from outside of the car? How loud is it?

hey im thinking about getting this i have a 2002 wrx stage 2 right now would this add any sound or no. i am also looking at a typhoon but its way more expensive.

@siccsoul916 No, but if you get a cobb intake then its fine if you use a Access Port but if you get something else like a Perrin short ram i highly recommend getting a custom tune to work with that intake because you will lose some responds on your car. But if you are going to mod a stock STi or WRX I highly recommend getting the Cobb Access Port first.
