collective soul writes some of the weirdest, most fucked up up songs known to man. don't get me wrong, i 'like' this band, but i can't see how people like this band. like, they got some of the most unconventional songs EVER. i mean, the "elvis laugh" in the chorus in "Gel"? the "yeahs" in shine? the "chew me up and spit me out" chorus in December? definaly THE most fucked-up rock band EVER.

this was being filmed for TV so i'm thinking that the lights they used were pretty bright compared to what they're used to at clubs. his glasses arent dark, they're the type that Jaylo and Bono wear to cut teh glare.

The first time I heard this song, I thought it was sung by David Bowie. The first stanza sounded so much like David Bowie. I liked it already ever since I first heard it on the radio. This song rocks.

This "new" song is a remake (or rippoff) of David Bowie's Suffragette City. Pull up Bowies video & you'll see for yourself.
They still rock. Sounds better live.

As said-the singer just kicks ass but the rest of the band looks like their just going through the motions. That's a great song-rock it !!
