  • The exhibit plaque does in fact mention the Dallas connection! In fact the entire display is about the assassination! There is also a video display that actually shows the event, replete with the "Zapruder" film.

  • Awesome car!

  • I just saw some footage of the day with the second shot and Jackie Kennedy was holding JFK from the first shot, her realizing her Husband was dead and probably it was the secret service yelling at her to crawl back on the trunk of the car.....very sad

  • Wow! Amazing! I'm a Kennedy buff also. Great job!

  • Hi.

I no longer have them and they are now owned by the family of the original builder.

sorry. why would you want them anyway?????????????????????

  • Hi and thank you for sharing!

I've been an avid assassination researcher for 41 of my 49 years and I have a question: would you be able to email pic's of your X-100 to me and, more to the point, would you be willing to either sell this one oor put me in touch with people who could build me one?

Thanks and keep up the great work!

    Bob

  • @mansonmurders hello,

thanks for the nice words. Much appreciated. The limo is protected somewhat....lol as I so not want a competition as the market is extreemly narrow and the car has a limited life as Kennedy moves father from our own times.

As far a selling it. It goes for six figures if I did sell it. Plan to donate it to one of two I have planned so it will be on display as long as the US exists.

I really love the Kennedy story, the limo is only part of what I like to show guests.

  • @KennedyCar Hi again and thank you for writing back! OK, I understand your attachment to your car soooo... when you say, "blueprints", would it be at ALL possible to get a copy? If so, please let me know your price and when/how it could be done.

    Thanks again and best wishhes!

    Bob

  • well actually yes,,, this is the same car but drastically re done and then torn apart and built from the frame and blueprints... Yes the original in Dearborn, wush they

would buy mine... then in Richmond it did A woman named Jackie with Roma Downey....tring to book the exhibit at fairs no one seems to have space?? or money?? JFK I the booking people do not even knoe who he was lol.. they would rather hire Racing pig shows ,,,lol... OH well

  • Thanks for posting. Was it used in the JFK movie filmed in Richmond, VA with Martin Sheen? The original rebuildt limo is at the Henry Ford museum correct?

  • @irish89055 Yes. The original 1961 J.F.K. Lincoln limosine is displayed at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. President Johnson ordered the manufacturer to repaint the limosine Tuxedo Black. Extensive modifications were also added after the assassination. The limosine was officially retired in 1977.

My Dad identified the limo immediately during a visit in 1979. The exhibit plaque doesn't mention the Dallas connection at all. Dad has a sixth sense about vehicles. Psychic..
