Hi, this guitar is not versatile, it's limited to sounding good with lots of gain, but then most guitars sound good with lots of gain, thats why I got rid of it.

I have played a lot of jems - never heard a versitile one - would love to see a video of yours playing traditional blues and maybe some classic rock - the pickups are pretty souless imo and the floating trem always takes away tone - always. The finish also does not justify the price (look inside your lionsclaw and handle) . Thinking about it didn't even sound good through a valve amp, just 'effects' made it ok?

That's unfortunate, although I have heard that before. I have never played a Jem, but I bet the big price tag has something to do with the cosmetics like the fretboard vine inlays. I have heard, however, the the Joe Satriani JS signatures are awesome.

If you want a really good rock tone go for a classic guitar.

It's the standard Ibanez Jem bridge, not sure if you could fit a D-tuner and I can't check for you as I don't own the guitar anymore.
