I just have to say that "Noticeable One" is one of the GRATE rock tunes of all time especially from a percussive standpoint, the best drumming song that I knew except for Cream maybe. Missing Person's lyrical content is also impressive and stands the test of time better than songs from last week.

they were popular in the early 80s, thing is as exposure to english bands like depeche mode , new order,bauhaus, and many many others became popular in the major US cities and clubs missing persons was seen as prettymuch bubble gum pop.

granted, you might not like his style... but if it wasn't for him, the drumming world would not be the same it is today. without bozzio, there would be no thomas lang or marco minnemann. (both immensely popular; though i think they both are rubbish compared to the master. his secret: not only chops, but also musicality.)

Saw these guys around 85' at Six Flags over Ga.,free concert back then with just areg. addmission to get in the park!! They were so good, Bozzio on set was an animal- as usual. One of the best shows for sure. Seeing this video reminds me how fortunate I really was!!!

That's Terry Bozzio he is definitely one of the best if not the best drummer in the world. If you liked him on this you should hear what he's done in the 25 + years since this was shot. From a drummers standpoint he plays a lot of stuff that seems impossible.

@owlcu: his name is terry bozzio...all 5 of these people played with frank zappa at one time or another...they were not at typical for new wave bands at the time...they could actually play their asses off...saw them several times in LA around this time, and would stand at the front of the stage right in front of bozzio's drums and just stare in wonder of his talent (while most everyone else was gawking at his then-wife, dale, and her outrageous costumes)...GREAT band
