Take note the causes of the flood, i.e. trash that were thrown in the rivers, people still refuse to recycle waste matter, govt. men who are corrupt milking the infrastructure funds, electorate who voted for incompetent leaders, i.e. Erap, GMA, Revilla, lapid, etc., and the Catholic church who opposes birth control. The tragedy is only an indication how Filipinos run their country. They deserved the floods.

I think there is a negligence between the shipping lines allowing to sail instead of forecasted coming typhoon. Hope this could not be happen again. Don't take innocent lives to sacrife just for the money to be earned.

I'm not familiar with this news yet but what boils my blood is that how could this ship be allowed to leave port or failed to divert from route when now a days typhoon can easily be predicted. In late 90's a similar incident happened with I think Filipina Princess/Sulpicio lines. When will can our sea professionals ever learn?
