At 6:53 when the white rook took your pawn, it seems to me like a catastrophic mistake on his behalf, and inevitably becomes one, any ideas what he could have been thinking when he did that?

Playing Speed Chess over the internet might hamper your development over the board.

I agree - have been trying to cut down, but it's hard when you have a busy week with work and family. Very tempting to play some speed chess in the off-times that come up.

Man, it might just be the PBR talking but I've never enjoyed watching someone play chest so much!

Alot of players are happy to trade their bishop for a knight, but in my opinion a bishop is alot more usefull for later stages in a match, ive not played for very long so i was just wondering your opinion on that?

I like to keep my good bishop (the one that is attacking more pieces of the enemies same color) and get rid of bad bishops (the bishops that are blocked in by your own pieces).

Would you say it was a serious blunder on his part at 3:57 to move his knight c3? I was thinking 2 better moves would be knight to c5 or king to d6, both moves ending with him getting your pawn for free, while his pawn is still on c file instead of d.

Obviously, a very fast paced blitz game, but i think it shows how one move, near the end can quickly change the outcome of a game.

Very interesting - I will plug it into my viewer and check it out. Totally agree about the blitz statement and how one move can really swing things either towards a winning position or a completely lost position!

i love the blitz way...long game gets me bored.i mean i'm not kasparov or any chessmaster, i just love to play chess. especially chess puzzles...perhaps you got lots there.

i guess you man is national master or a grndmaster perhaps that played lots of tournaments...

Also, in the 1st game, your knight on d6 illustrated an idea called "domination." It really cramped his position a lot, especially his rook.

I'm really running out of ideas for videos though. And every time I record a live game it turns out bad: Either my opponent blunders or it's a boring game or I play horrible. :-(

I enjoy the 3 min blitz simply for fun - definitely prone to more errors under those time constraints, but it's fun to see how many lines you can remember under pressure. =)
