I did ear candling the other day.. The first time I had a wonderful; experience.. This time it was a terrible experience. I did the test candle hoax.. Just to see if what I did wasn't a good thing. I wish I checked this out before I candled my ears. I use a soy and bee's wax formulated ear candle. Well when we were finished.. I cant hear. I have sever pain..literally did the test in a glass jar, the smoke that accumulated at the bottom was wax.. and I am in fear I Fed my ear up. Off 2 the Dr.4me
Ear candling isn't real idiots. Of course you just put it in your ear and burn it, the burning of the paper produces substance that looks very similar to earwax, but it's just the paper.
that isn't ear wax that's the candle drippings All an ear candle accomplishes is it softens your ear wax so that you can use a q tip and have better results because your ear wax isn't so hard and compacted due to the heat from the ear candle but all that collected in the candle is not ear wax. Are you really so stupid that you think that earwax gets sucked up into the candle?
now burn another one but don't put it in the ear. place the tip of the candle in a wash cloth to prevent stuff from falling out. once done burning open it up. guess what, there's a bunch of stuff in there just like the one from your ear. it's a hoax.
I'm always amazed at the shear ignorance of some people. That stuff did not come out of anyone's ear. How stupid does someone have to be to believe that it did?
@dkjohannes Dude....i never took a stance on this. I tried it, and taped the results. How stupid do you have to be to actually search Earwax to find this video. You must be an actual retarded person.
@Soloartist18 Great comeback ... this from someone who stuck flaming paper in their ear and posted it on YouTube. Yep, I must be retarded to have clicked the box when it came up on the screen, but I didn't take the time to put it there.
@DaMINIAC Hey, am I advertising this? Do you see anywhere me claim this stuff works? Where do I mention anything about "you gotta go buy this!"? Yeah, no where. In fact, the title ends in ".mov" meaning that I uploaded it from my mac and didn't even change the title. I was showing my buddy the results of using it, obviously its not all earwax and I don't claim it to be.
My question to you is, do you really enjoy slamming people to the ground cause you think you know everything? Asshole.
@Soloartist18 tht shut him up! and i agree with you man. hes a troller happens to everybody man, nice results tho hahaha kinda nasty bout wat can come out of ppls ears!! yuck:p
@Soloartist18 Well accually, since you are using the "candling" technique, about 30-40% (im not for sure) of that stuff is the candle it self, so i think ur earwax is the residue left on the side. plus dont u think if that WAS the ear wax then it would have fallen back in ur ear?
Just had this done tonight, It makes my head feel very clear took 10 minutes each ear @ Balance Health and Wellness in Lindenhurst NY # (631) 225-2623
@zachowacko And you must be really stupid because 1 year ago you made the following comment on this *same* exact video: "i have done this and i can verify that this is definitely earwax. i i am sure freekygeek has not done it correctly."
@megyerdon you're right, there's no way i would comment on a video twice without being really stupid. i wonder if i know the guy who posted this...? that would explain a lot.
You idiot, they go like that even if you don't put them near someones ear. They are a total con and used by idiots who think they work when they don't! Clever marketing and stupid people means lots of money. So stop buying them. They don't work.
i've gotta do this tomorrow in beauty therapy at college.. luckily i have perferations, so i wont be allowed to have it done, but i'd probably choose not to anyway, doesn't look to good.
I used to do ear candling... then one day I opened up a candle that I had not used, and it looked exactly the same. It already has the debris in there.
no candling works it just that u have to stick it in ur ear, the wax from the candle and your ear look alike, you probably just always had clean ears. i mean if you candled a few times that shows you are a pretty clean person and your results prolly had barely any wax
Ear candles were actually proven to be a hoax even back in the 90's, the residue collected inside the hollow lower part of the candle is all originated from the candle. Also, you shouldn't forget the possibility of injury (e.g. hot candle wax straight into your ear) if something goes even a little bit wrong. I'm surprised ignorant little shits like yourself still swear by them. I assume it's safe to say that you also fear the full moon and like to toss (pun intended) salt over your shoulder?
In that case you must be a plain old idiot, while it is true that scientists aren't always right (at least not on the first time, theories evolve), ear candles have been proven enough many times to do absolutely no good while the potential to do harm is roughly the same as giving a 3 year old a pen and asking him to clean your ears. For your sake I urge you to look into this issue and find out the truth before you or someone you care about goes around playing with the candles and ends up deaf.
you idiot, theyre not wax! theyre a canvas type material, when burnt turns into a light ash. if it falls onto your skin, it was already cooled. trust me, ive done it before
@rtfrmko Oh you uneducated cretin, do the humankind a favor and go stick a fork into an electrical socket. The wax inside the CANDLE is just candlewax that dripped down and came close to scorching patients eardrum, it has nothinnnnggggg to do with earwax. Check your facts before you start moaning, bitch.
@Optimyistical Dude....I just have to say, i NEVER thought i'd get this sort of response from this video. ha yeah I haven't done it since cause I couldn't feel the before and after difference.
Perhaps some ear candles are not as good as others - but having an otiscope (sp?) and seeing the that the gucky nasty wax that was impacted in the canal is no longer there but is found inside the bottom of the ear candle... I trust results I can see. However I can also be open minded to other people's experiences. If you do try this please have someone help you who knows what they are doing and has experience. It is very easy to cause serious damage.
Wow. As you were not present, I don't think you are in any position to call me a "fool". I respect other people's opinions, as long as they are equally respectful. Alas, too many posts on the internet today are reminiscent of grade school playgrounds. It's easy to prove or disprove almost anything, so I reserve judgement until I see the results in person. Everyone should try to keep an open mind about everything in life. *sigh* What ever happened to good old fashioned politeness?
I didn't say you were a moronic asshole jerk off dick brain or anything, calm down. I simply called you a fool. That is awfully restrained and would pass muster on "Leave It To Beaver". And you are a fool, because you have been "fooled" by this obvious wives tale/ holistic ear draining nonsense. What else could I possible say to make you realize THIS ODES NOT REMOVE EAR WAX.
@Soloartist18 I would have tried it, too! Did you ever get the "little spoon"? One of the technical terms is curette. I heard say once that using the metal "blackhead remover" tool you can sometimes find at either Wal-Mart or your local drugstore chain works for gently easing the wax out of the ear. :)
@megyerdon oh yeah? I'll have to check that out. I'm always on the lookout for ways to clean my body. For example, have you ever used a "Neti Pot". It totally flushes out your sinuses. It's such an odd sensation. ha ha
@Soloartist18 I've seen those!! I want to try one, but I'm almost afraid to see what comes out! I think I can handle the weird sensation though, I've had lots of weird sensations from medical treatments (many, too many, lol) over the years. Maybe I will pick one up this week - since my sinuses always act up around this time of year. Thanks!!! Hey - stop over to popthatzitDOTcom sometime. Its a wicked laugh! And some amazingly interesting stuff, too! :)
@like50somalians I'd rather be considered a YT "police officer" than a inconsiderate, rude slammer troll any day of the week. Politeness in social settings should not be thrown out the window just because everyone is sitting behind a wall of anonymity called their computer. There are nice ways of disagreeing with a concept and voicing your opinion, and then there is straight up mean, nasty and uncalled for obscenities. Have a nice day! :)
freekygeek is right. There is enough stuff on the internet to show that the "wax" is from inside the candle and is produced because of the heat. One person did an experiment using a small glass phial and attaching the ear candle to it to simulate a session. When opened it had all the same debris in it as if it was a real person. There has also been accidents where the wax has dripped on and set to the ear drum.
The American Medical Association and FDA, Have done multiple test that show that Ear candling does not Pull or suction any wax from your ear. The material found inside the candle is soot and debris from the candle it self. Sorry.
Not all earwax! Not possible... anyhow wax actually protects your ears so removing all of it isn't that beneficial!

You can also do that same test yourself. Ear candling is a big HOAX!!!

DOES not have enough suction..
