The songs in this medley of dances is Pleng Chaa (เพลงช้า), and should be followed by Pleng Rew (เพลงเร็ว), and Pleng La (เพลงลา), but Khmer call them all as Pleng Chaa and the dance postures are not complete as in Thai original. But, however, we are glad that Khmer can remember what Thai taught them well and good that you still call the song names in Thai words as we had taught you a 100 years ago.
this is chaa bahnchoh, where you learn the right postures of the dance. this is only and excerpt, as the full versions lasts hours. the teacher is helping to give the correct posture
If I'm not wrong, the individual thats performing this kbach baht is Keo Bora. I heard that she is now a professor at RUFA. She's toured the world as a dancer and singer/actress...
During before last music the melody start to fast has been called "Pleng Reuw" because "Reuw" in Thai meaning is fast. And the end dancer makes " Jeep Lo Kaew " 6 times in Thai culture call " Pleng La" that is mean the end of the dance. May be that is the different from Thai-Khmer dances.Would I like say that because I lernt Thai dance and culture of dance?
yes I also dance, I think I got you confused from my other comment I mean to say male character verison have u heard of that one? but my teacher's name is Puthy she left the group about 6 years ago to go to USA
The music is refined and beautiful!! The members of the orchestra do a really good job, which is extremely important for an excellent dance performance show.
