There is noway that Camaro raced. You can tell in the video that the person never hit the gas. I lost count after 30 the amount of evo's and other new imports I have severly pissed on with my 10 Camaro 2SS. I wont lie I do have American Racing Headers and a CAI by Airaid. They all wanna race from a 40 roll. LOL They get a tiny jump then once I get going again, bye bye. From a dead stop, they aren't even worth racing. Any tenspeed on the road will give me a better run.

@moemoemoe567 sorry to bust your bubble bro but a 10 camaro ss isnt all that fast.. and headers and a CAI with no tune with basically do nothing dont got by the hp reading on the side of the box with the parts you maybe gained 10hp at best.. your car with a GREAT launch will run a mid to low 13 thats a proven fact not made up numbers.. A 400 whp evo on E85 is runnin 11's all day long to run low 12's you need about 350whp with supporting mods of course.. i mean just do the math man
@basscrazy777 Your so Ignorant get educated how much does a camaro make 420ish HP thats crank HP to the wheels it would be around 370Whp plus weight is a factor on both cars and last time i checked Evo is lighter. Do you know what e85 does? faster spool more HP cooler Internal Combustion also the car is tuned check out an evos power band compared to a camaro all this is why it did what it did. and from the looks of the video the camaro lost big time
@basscrazy777 theres 426 hp under the hood of the camaro and it weighs as much as my house.. the evo's got about 300 and awd in the 1/4 mile where real racing only matters anyway stock for stock its a balls deep race... throw a boost controller on the evo (like every owner does with a turbo car) your running low to flat 13's man.. why does everyone have a problem with imports? they have great potential and can really move with the right mods and tune..

Why would you race a modded car against a non modded and stock car in the first place when you already know what the results are going to be. Camaros are still not making their owners as happy as they will in the future. Out-of-the box, they are running mid-low 14s, at the track. Challengers, mid-14s. It's upsetting.
@dbuschhorn you must of never driven one (Camaro) then because i was just at the track this past Friday (Oct. 21, 2011) in mine and all i have so far is a Vararam CAI and i ran 13.44 @104 with a 1.9 60 foot. So you obviously have no idea or clue what your talking about.
@2010CamaroSS2man Have they gotten the tune cracked? The last time I raced, there were still major issues with trying to work out a tune. You replied to a 2 month old post.
@dbuschhorn i don't know yet because i haven't gotten a tune, all i have is a Vararam air intake and will be getting a tune here soon and i think they have cracked the tune but, my point to was i am pretty much bone stock and ran a 13.44 last Friday at the local drag strip not a mid to low 14 unless your talking about a V6 model then i wouldn't know.
@dbuschhorn now just talking about the Camaro because we all know Dodges are good looking but, thats it bbecause they are tanks and way to heavy but, with CAI and a tune and a good exhaust with maybe some electric cut outs your looking at 400/420 whp with and auto and maybe 420/450 with manual.

There was no such thing as a 2006 Camaro.
