A friend asked Justine that question if she had read the book, she said that her inspiration and motivations came mainly from the book and the make up crew even helped her to create a bullet hole through her hand on to her chest, unfortunately no one could really see it from the audience

@lilrowyravenclaw Unfortunately I think it's just stage mud. *chuckle* :D Would've been nice, though, right? For my production we wanted to add some blood to my (Eponine's) hand but it sweated off and stained poor Marius' shirt. Couldn't use it after the first dress rehearsal! :(
