This year i played Aion and WoW, hit 60 on WoW within 4 days then tried Aion and hit 50 in 8 days, imo Aion PVP is probably the best PVP mmorpg i have ever played. WoW is more PVE and story based. although the changes in Aion 2.5 are nice most servers are unbalanced which is Aion's biggest downfall, With WoW userbase it will always be the most popular game.

Air PVP on Aion is broken and ranged classes have the advantage ther.

Ranger and Sorc are both OP classes.

And Aion is not hard, it's grindy, you have to kill the same fucking monster 1000times to lvl up and thats not hard, it's just stupid and boring.

Those needs do not include better visuals for me, I can understand the message and what that's supposed to be from the visual, if its giving you an interesting challenge, that is a player's needs

As for aion vs wow, there's no comparrison. you can outcry AION RULES all the way, WoW is still on top and will still be there for a very long time

Honestly AIon was the closest wow killer ever so far. The game was amazing, but it's way to grindy. =\ I would've loved to keep playing it, but the grind was just a bit to much for me.

I've been playing since release and I will agree that at the start the Grind was very bad. However, since then there has been a lot of exp increases on quests as well as there are a lot of new quests and repeatable.

Yeah sure, its "hard" if you considering killing hundred of thousands of the same NPC hard, while being ganked by lvl40s.

I picked up WoW after not playing since 4 months before tbc came out. I have to say, I enjoy how simple things got in terms of instances, no longer have to sit for hours LFG!! LFG!!

@w0wnut3r Israphal is a nicely populated server. I'm a 35 ranger and they're great burst dps, but difficult to play before lvl 19. I wouldn't join a Legion until lvl 30 because thats when the good ones will except you, and a legion isn't very necessary before then.

i played a sorc in aion for a while,only up to mid 20s. i was just stacked the highest level spelldamage gems i could in all my slots which made for some interesting duels. this was when it first came out and bear in mind i was fighting against other nubs. also in when grouping i was easily doing half of the damage. Krall quests. i still remember that lol. but slow pace, huge server Qs and unfinished feeling of the game meant i stopped playing after only a few weeks. The looks are amazing though

Aion is an outstanding MMORPG! I was apprehensive at first about trying out another new mmo, but this one proved to be up there with my favorite mmos in the past... What's even more exciting is the future of it, this game is already outstanding and theres even more to look forward to. I'm extremely pleased with this game. Make sure your computer is able to handle it, otherwise you're SOL or playing it with low settings and lag.
