It wasn't the camera that needed it. The N800 has a stand. If you went through all of that trouble to make the GUI, take the time to put the device on a book or something.

The Pandora sounds great; I love your design concept of the emulator/rom menu. I hear it should support Amiga emulation (WinUAE/WinFellow) I'll probably end up getting one (at some point) for that purpose alone!

Nasty looking GUI, not what the Pandora needs nor will have - Thank God!

Plus This is NOT a UMPC. It's form factor alone tells you that it is too small to be one and let's not forget that this is first and foremost a handheld open source video games system. Gaming is the core of the community and the same applies for this handheld.

It *is* a UMPC. How can something be "too small" to be an Ultra-Mobile PC? That makes no sense. It is first and foremost an open system. Meaning if you only want to play games on it - that's your choice, if I want write reports on it - I can do that too. It's an open mobile computer with gaming controls. I call it a gaming UMPC.

Actually it is a UMPC... if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, and talks like a duck... it's a duck. UMPC is a very broad statement, but look at the things every UMPC has in common.. Pandora has them.

Unlike "PMP", it's not a category of devices you can through something in because it appears similar. UMPC's a design specification. It is not a "broad statement" nor is it a generality used to describe a small PC. See what the general population thinks at the umpc wiki.

It's a mockup of a proposed GUI for the Pandora - more info at openpandora. org - it's a Gaming centric UMPC. This is the GUI I'd like to see for the operating system itself - or the shell, or firmware, or whatever it's called. This would be what you see when you first boot it up.
