Lol jk, like the others said, start a city, download mods especially, look into starting big projects, I currently have a single player world with a city that has the capacity to hold over 1000 occupants, (embarassing, I know), but keep youself busy instead of mindlessly collecting resources and mining, maybe even ignore the survival aspect, bring MCEdit & TooManyItems in, you'll end up getting inspiration somehwere!

@Wak033 You make a good point, BUT I hate using wooden tools when stone is so much easier to get after making a wooden pick. No need making a wooden shovel for a few pieces of dirt, imo.

I know its something small, but please stop using the pickaxe on dirt :C you can dig dirt with your hand and could use the pick on other things. It's more efficient of your resorces, which can be scarce at times (as unlikely as it maybe, stone and wood can be difficult to manage if you dont keep track).

@mrblue251 True, very true. I tend to only do that in the beginning of starting a map until I get some cobble to make stone tools. I hate wooden tools and don't find it necessary to make a wooden shovel when I can get cobble from a wooden pick that I will throw away shortly after. Like I said, no problem I won't be doing it anymore as I will have a Shovel! :D

It might be helpful if you turn up the brightness, because when you are in a darker place it is pitch black.
