  • James is such an ass.

  • well aren't you a dick james

  • wow he is such a ass

  • I wish i could go back to when i was 6 and this came on tv everyday and i'd watch it and go .. oooh i'm marrying james someday :)

  • From the 60's ^-^

  • If Sarah's red hair were real life, I think it would like Paul McCartney's ex girlfriend Jane Asher's hair. Her natural hair color is also like red-orangish .she was a model and actress from London. But I think Sarah is prettier than her lol :p

  • They were found not guilty for a good reason. They weren't guilty.

  • Henri is strong and able!

*falls of the thing he's on* lol

  • i wish these vids had the theme song a the beginning, but otherwise, i am happy to just be watching these, me and my bro used to watch these together as kids, it was our favorite show!

  • @potterfan1919 this guy has also uploaded the opening on his channel.

  • Some of these episodes are pretty damn good about showing all sides of the story, not just the colonist's views.

  • i ship James and Sarah

  • hey thumbs up if you agree that this person should put the next and pevoius anntions or something like that up higher so you can ACUTALLY click it, ya-know

  • sarah looks black @ 7:57 loll

  • OMG I HATE HISTORY AND I'M ACTUALLY ENJOYING THIS >.<

  • make men's blood run hot... james has a big mouth... i want pie... those three men were being rude... james was hilarious at 6:40 ish... james needs a brain... jame swas being just a bit mean to Mr.hooty hoot...

  • 10:33 sound exactly like the music from the patriot

  • I haven't watched this series since I was in the third grade...but It's helping me for AP US History, haha :D

  • @Kairyko lol same here

  • HOOTY HOO :D

  • i cant believe how much of an asshole James is in this episode. it makes me really sad and anger >:(

  • Wait a second...how'd Sarah get her father's locket back? I thought she lost it in Boston Harbor after the British soldier tore it off of her in the first episode.

  • @kfodom she didnt. henri suggested they make a new one out of james's ring to say thank you for saving them when they were in boston. moses hammered it into a solid circle

  • @americangirl548 Yeah. I noticed that when I went back and watched this episode again.

  • Why did i not watch this before taking my first US History test

  • @TheFilmCollectorDude No you just saw that BS miniseries. Sam Adams and John Hancock opposed mob violence if you bothered to look.

The only thing that was really Tarred on that Set was Hancock and Adams reputations.

  • I think the reason James is so supportive of tar and feathering is because he doesn't realize how painful it is. I think he's under the impression that it would be like being coveted in maple syrup, rather than like being covered in liquid fire that takes skin with it as it's peeled away.

  • @phoenixhart17 I know he must clueless about how painful it really is.

  • @mrorville1 According to Wikipedia, "tory", came from an Irish Gaelic word meaning "outlaw," and was used in the same sense that "kafir" ("infidel") is used today in the Middle East for Muslims who support Israel or the west, or who convert to Christianity.

  • I'll have to look up the etymology of the word "tory." I'm more familiar with Tori as a short form of Victoria.

They never did establish how Sarah is related to Abigail. It was just suddenly declared.

  • James is being mean by thinking that Boston Massacre was a patriotic act and laghing and not helping the British salitor. good thing he learned his lesson

  • i miss this!!!!!!!

  • wow such a great show mad cuz it eneded :-(

  • HOOTY HOOT! =D

  • James' ATK and DEF rose by 800 points.

  • good show

  • That isn't funny that's terrible. Tarring and feathering someone.

  • At 6:00, it looks like James is holding Sarah's hand XD

  • thanks

  • This show makes me crave french toast stick

  • the voices match the chaters perctily

  • Jeez, they got some big name voice-actors for this show....and rightly so! HOOTY HOOT! lol

  • Jeez, they got some big name voice-actors for this show....and rightly so!

  • How dumb is she? She says he shouldn't go stop the fight at the beginning, Then afterwards she said he shouldv'e stopped the fight!

  • I bet John Adams has romantic feelings for Abigail Adams.

  • @Sporemin well yes considering she was his wife... -.-

  • @masterbassplayer93

I thought they only faked that once to prevent getting drafted in the army or something. And that they're only 16.

Their sizes look so disproportionate in that scene.

  • @Sporemin I think so too! I'm a huge John/Abigail Adams shipper! I hope they end up together! ;)

  • i got like one friend thats british and his name is kearen but even i must say this. great britian. america whooped ur ass

  • people used to cover officials with tar, and then cover them with feathers, put leaches on them, and parade them around the town.

its very very scary, google it for pics!!!

  • Samuel Adams always a good protestor!

  • You know James shoudl know that those britsh platoon who fired at the colonist were provoked. These men were pushed them over the line. This show may be good but it sure it not as well informed as Tom Hnak's hbo mini series called "John Adams"James is too conversative in my opinion.

  • Henri: "What is it?"

James: "It's the barn owl on parade!"

  • O.O poor sailor guy got tarred and feathered!!! way to be a tool, James!!

  • I love how both kids are very one-sided, Sarah repeats only British opinions of the time, and James repeats extreme colonial views.

  • I'm guilty of acting like James sometimes when I don't have all my facts straight... <:D

  • @MegamanBeta don't worry, that's happened to me and others before. But then again, no one is perfect.

  • It's amazing how so much of this relates to America today: knowing the difference between a patriotic act and mob rule, seeing an act of kindness and a act of callous.

Great Show! From elementary school to college student to full adult, everyone can learn from this!

    Thanks for uploading!

  • Both the British and Americans were doing something wrong!

  • Youtube is so slow today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • it look like the bird was spying on them 00:51

  • O my gosh did we Americans actually do that?!?!

  • @marivel14 drunken americans did this, yes...

  • @marivel14 way back when, it was an extreme time period, some colonists hated United Kingdom to the extreme, its ironic that now England is our closest Ally.

  • it's good that they show both sides of the story

  • Ahh =u= I remember watching this show when I was younger. Rewatching it now, I see how historically accurate it really it :D

  • Wow James, way to be a cunt.

  • @LFZ15 hes not that bad

  • James is an Ass in this episode!

  • @sacramenteens WHAT YOU SAID

  • so many people died from injuries sustained from being tarred and feathered, and sometimes colonists would force feed the loyalists or accused loyalists tea. It was terrible.

  • james is being an idiot

  • That poor guy who got tarred and feathered! :(

  • I thank you for the liberty's kids show I haven't seen it in years

  • Henri's laughter sounds retarded sometimes...

  • Do u guys think that James would like it if he was tarred and feathered then was carried around Pennsylvania at night then strangers throwing raw fruits at him?

  • @NickRussell1fan13 uuh no

  • The tar and feathering was brutal and those men were drunk. But still people who deserve it should have it done to them. :D

  • A new show about the American Civil War or as the south calls it ( the war of northern agression ) would be so amazing I would watch it. P.S in this episode James is an Ass.

  • @Willsuitt1 people call it the war of northern agression? i'm from texas and i've never heard that... except in a random book once...

  • @Willsuitt1 i think southerners called it the war between the states

  • The title reminds me of this song I have to sing in chrous........ it's called One Nation. It's likely because part of the chorus says, "United We Stand." At least, I'm pretty sure it is.

  • lol barn owl!

  • Does anybody know what episode James tells Sarah about his story with his parents?Hint: (the ring)

  • the previous one

  • @XxTheBeatlesxX1 episode 1 he later give it to her in the form of a locket to replace the one she lost by the dartmouth

  • this is better than my ap history class
