  • You want to know the real face of AUSTN, see other related youtube videos uploaded buy those idiot students mocking themselves and their " professors" , those videos reflects the true face of this under-performing university.

  • I just want to say to the everyone who believes that "This is a dream that came true" please buy an air plane ticket and go visit any university in the US or Europe and you will know what a dream is, and why we are so much behind, for example MIT managed $718.2 million in research expenditures and a $8.0 billion endowment in 2009-wiki. Thats $2million a day on research!. If you cant afford to buy an airplane ticket please drive your car to the AUS and you will know what a local dream is.

  • IWe all know that this is an under-performing university run by a mentality that believes " men and women" should not "mix" together under the same roof because that is "forbidden". You know what else is forbidden in this university? Free speech is forbidden, lowering expenses is forbidden, admitting the truth is forbidden. I am a student and I know what I am talking about. And i wouldn't be surprised if my comments will be deleted, thats just the nature of the beast.

  • @watchfuleye1000

man if your looking for a free speech it's a wrong region to do it in.............

came on be serias......and about mixing thing, it's the culture, didn't like it ...you have the whole right to leave.

  • @deadman1470

This university is failing in its basic mission; creating leaders, critical thinkers, seekers and bringers of change, innovators, men and women capable of making their own mind; that’s what universities are for.

I know that these ideas are so incomprehensible for many, and I know this will be the case until you and me and many others work together to change it.

  • @deadman1470

If you are a respectful educational institution that aims at building the future of your country by making leaders out of these young minds, then, the first step is to show some respect. If you can’t trust these students (because you believe it inevitable that they will make “mistakes” if you mix them), on such a minor issue, how will you trust them then to build the future of your county? This is so disrespectful.

  • @deadman1470

Now, to the issue of men and women not mixing at this university, this is the most degrading, most insulting, most humiliating notion ever. Do you think that treating these young students as if they are animals that have to be separated, (otherwise they will copulate with each other) is a respectful thing to do? Why the separation?

  • @deadman1470

This is why we – unlike people in the rest of the world – can’t evolve our systems from within. That’s why every year great people “leave” “our region” to go and live their lives somewhere else. We are losing great minds every year because we ask people who don’t agree with us to leave. That’s, simply, because our own societies won’t accept them as members any more. This is fundamentally wrong. That’s why we are lagging behind.

  • Being a student in a university is not like being a member of a club or a gym (if you don’t like our services, then you can leave at any time). This approach to criticism is what crippled the development of our societies for decades.

  • @deadman1470

Thank you so much first for your comment.I liked how you kept it respectful. However, I am afraid that I disagree with you. When you say" If you don't like it you have the whole right to leave", you are displaying the basic deference between the Middle Eastern approach to criticism and the Western approach. Basically, when someone criticize our systems (educational, political, religious, governmental, etc ), we ask him/ her to leave ( and if they don’t, sometimes we eliminate them)

  • Unfortunately we all know that this is nothing but a cheap propaganda. The lyrics is just like any typical superficial high-school lyrics composed of 1 or 2 sentences that keeps repeating itself again and again reflecting the drained mentality of the person who wrote it, celebrating a sandcastle. The poor orchestration of the music ( thats if we agree it is music) is adding insult to injury, composed by a Sharjah TV type of "composer" who might as well believe that music is "forbidden".

  • الله على ايام الدراسه :) والله مشتاقلها
