  • learn to hit a draw and it will go fartherr

  • you pick the club up way to much on your take away and you cut across the ball

  • Nice look at mine

  • All of these comments here are fucking useless.

  • Setup:Shoulder are too open, they aim to much left of target. Get the left arm above right arm at setup at this view. (strengthen your grip will help this)

Takeaway/Top:Too steep and disconnected (right elbow at top well above your chin) Work more on keeping the arms hands chest turning back together, put a ball in between your arms and make back swings. The swing thought could be left arm more across chest at top. After that, let me know whats going on

  • every 1s sayin that he dusint hit it far becuz he hits a fade??? angel cabrera hits a fade off the tee nd is 1 of the longest drivers on tour

  • you hit your 6 iron 175 and your driver 300+? Either get new irons with more pop or figure out why that proportion is retarted. You hit irons further with ball compression. Hit down on the golf ball. with a swing more controled you could hit it so much further with your irons because the swing speed is already there. haha. i got you by ten yards with the 6 iron. Keep everything quit in the swing. Your shoulder plane gets fucked in your take away, simplify your swing. Hit down on the ball, not up

  • @samwa123

Working on that! made my grip a little weaker!

what kind of irons do you use? mine are Titlist DCI 962's

  • @hobbes1231 Sorry about the late response, i play cobra pro cb's. I just put up a new swing, go check it out.

  • tomuch back spin on the ball. that leads to not having a good traj

  • man u killed that one, im 13 and i only my 6 iron like what 140-50 max?

  • look at my swing plz

  • big cut. fore right

  • damn son thats nice, check out my swing! completely different than yours and let me know what you think... to all the hatters, hey if its working for you than dont fix it, "dont fix whats not broken" keep it up man

  • very good unique swing. what are you on about johncarew1000, that 6 iron was an easy 165, atleast

  • You are way over the top and your swing is way too fast, slow down and keep ur head on the ball

  • same as the advice i gave you for the driver. get a full extension with the release. try practicing on grass to see your divet. if your divet is after the ball you have good extention. look at ernie els in slow motion right after he passes through the pass... its perfect, or anthony kim.

  • can you do in the grass with no matt to help you get better contact?

and chemical pro you idiot all swing paths are outside in even tiger woods the greatest golfer on the planet and if it is outside in its called a two plane golf swing but people are retarded these days to study swings ]and go out there with ignorance and a inside out motion?! wtf are talking about thats called a slice

everyone U CAN PICK THE CLUB ANY WAY YOU WANT TO AS LONG AS ITS ABOVE YOUR DOWN SWING PATH PERIOD!

  • rate my swing please

  • Great contact and ball flight

  • steep. but buttery result.

  • Hey..name's Brad...I'm a PGA member and teaching professional for GolfTEC..great looking swing all around..the ONLY thing I want you to tidy up a little bit is this..if you pause the video at the top you have a VERY straight right leg..this causes two things....steep arms at the top and upper body lean towards the target b/c of over-rotation..keep the flex in your right knee...that'll shallow out your arms and make your ball striking more consistent. you'll also have more control of trajectory.

  • hahah u got to love all the butch harmon wanabes, so funny its unreal

  • what HCP u got? ;)

  • over the top, block city!!!

  • @FalconVB

A - that wasnt over the top

B - you cant hit a block with an over the top swing anyway

  • gotta agree with the other fade comments, surely looks like your swing path is a little outside-in. i had the same problem; my right shoulder rolled in real quickly. to fix it, try dropping your right shoulder towards the ground on downswing. should promote a more inside-out motion. with your already outside-in finish this should be a sure combi for crisp shots. good luck!

  • great swing! for a different look, try pinching your thumb and index finger on your right hand on the downswing.

  • i saw in your other video, you seem to fade it. The reason for this is on your swing plane your coming outside then inside, which creates a fade/hook. try bringing it inside dramatically 5 times, then swing normal. repeat less and less times.

  • is a fade ball, is not it?

  • that was a nice trajectory for a six iron how far do u hit a six iron

  • i like to keep my irons high when I'm practicing!

    i hit my 6 iron about 175yrds!

  • bull shit, you hit a high weak fade and they probably go about 120

  • i can rip the ball than your bad looking swng 5 times better. and again, could you mind your manners? don't wanna admit it? fine.

  • 120? what are you talking about? he flushed that 6 iron probably a good 180 maybe.

    nice swing!

  • @johncarew1000 a 175 with a 6 iron isnt unbelievable,.. i just hit mine 180 the other day

  • @hobbes1231 its cause your on a mat

  • your swing looks pretty good, you get a great tragectory, and it looked like you struck it well too.

  • yeah, this swing was pretty good!

i think it's getting better now, but just a

    little bit! haha

  • i like your swing. u have good consistency with both your iron and your driver. i like milky's comment about the speed of the backswing. ur driver looked like a slight draw, but this looked like a fade, though.

  • thanx!

i like to hit my irons straight, so

i like to fade or straight ball the irons!

  • if your worried about consistency at all, (i dont know what u really want to know) if u find tht everythings fine the keep ur swing where it is but if you find that the ball sometimes goes all over the place then slow your backswing

    but overall nice swing

  • thanx!

    i totally agree!

    i've worked on it!

i'll put a new swing up!

  • it might just be my view, but it looked like it slightly faded there...

    nice though

  • great comment!

i like to fade my iron shots more than to

    draw 'em. how about you?:)

  • i like to draw mine as i find it gets me a little extra distance, but now i think about it, a fade would be good for irons, as the backspin would create a higher softer landing shot...

  • i find it easier to control my shots when i'm hitting fade more than drawing em.

  • nice hit, try to keep that left toe on the ground through impact, makes your finish look off balance

  • yeah, it used to be better before I sprained my ankle and lost some of my flexibility :(

but I'm coping around wit it!

  • jeez.. all this technical mumbo jumbo

it's all about the results.. not about how pretty it is... if you are scoring low, it's all good.

  • thanx!

I kinda agree wit what your saying.

but I guess I'm having a lot of fun thinking about other people's opinions.

  • 00:03 「ぢょりッッッッッッ!!!!」

  • Be more careful about the plane that you bring your hands into during impact. The club by its design has a lie angle therefore its needs to be on a specific plane during impact.

At the top of the backstroke, notice if you drew a line (this viewpoint) from the sweetspot to the right shoulder that the hands should be on this plane and yours is above it. The problem is that you didn't set the clubhead off on the correct orbit initially at startup.

  • thanx for the comment!

I don't really get what your talking about??

I think, and so does many proffesionals say there is no specific plane that you have to set your hands on to at the tor of the swing.

but from half-way down and into the impact, there is a specific plane due to the lie of the club. the plane has a range, and it's not a line.

  • A plane is not a range - but a flat surface per its dictionary definition. When this flat surface goes into the ground through the ball it creates a line. One end of the club should always point at this line except when parallel. The plane angle may change but the plane line doesn't however, the ideal plane at the top of the backstroke is to put the club and right shoulder onplane at the top of the backstroke and at impact the plane angle as designated by the clubs design.

  • well, when I'm talking about the range of the plane, there is one line drawn from the ball, and through your belly(or waist line), and another one drawn from the ball and through your neck. What I'm saying is that your plane should be in that range, and what really makes your ideal plane is not from the club lie but from your physical character. hmm, I'm a little confused discussing without any pictures, sorry.

  • Incorrect - the club has a lie angle which dictates the plane angle. Whilst the plane may shift around the plane line during backstroke and startdown, at impact you need to be on this plane because any other plane is going to have a tilting effect on the clubface which affects directional control.

  • I'm really sorry but I have confidence

in my swing method just as you do, and talking to people to be incorrect doesn't fit my manners. Let's not talk about the plane anymore, there are still alot of differece in the swing plane. Besides, if I had my plane during impact incorrectly, my balls shouldn't be flying straight right? affecting directional control?? better learn your manners before you learn your methods.

  • Look im sorry if I rubbed you up the wrong way but as one of the few people in the world to have animated and made 3d models of the golf stroke, it gives me the insight into what happend geometrically that most don't know and I tend to say things with an definate air of authority because I know things to be true instead of think them. I've not just read some Leadbetter book and spouting stuff I have read without thinking about it. The clubs design shows how it is meant to be used for impact.

  • I'm just not that much used to discussing on golf swings in english, but I'm pretty sure I have an image to understand, it's great to have these kinda conversations!

  • Beautiful swing. Hard to find anything wrong with it. The only thing I see is your upper body and head raise slightly as you go back, but then you recover your spine angle coming down and thru. You could be more efficient there but man what a good looking swing!!!!

  • thanks for the comment!

    I really apreciate your compliment:)

but I think I still have lots to work to,

    let's both enjoy!

  • Nice swing. How far do you your 6I on average ?

  • thanx for the comment!

    I hit about 180~185yds.

    maybe no further than that.

but I try to keep it around 175~180 when I go on course:) I think I have the potential to increase my iron length by improving my swing, but my ball are pretty high, so I don't feel that bad about my irons.

  • good swing but your shoulders are flat when youve completed your back swing to correct your shoulder plane at impact your spining out of the shot. practise a little crossin your hands over your chest holding your shoulders make your turn feelin your shoulder plane is just outside the ball path. hope this helps :):)

  • thanks for the comment!

I think the flat shoulder turn, or I like to call it horizontal; is what makes my swing different.

I've been playing tennis, and am right now working on this. I feel that turning your

left shoulder in horizontally makes your swing core stable and powerful towards the ground.

about the turning path, I try my belly button to point the target line area, and lead my club on plane.

but I really like your method! thanx
