@jamison850 I've repeatedly seen people make reference to the TAC version, but I've no clue what TAC means. The Complete Symphonic Recording was my first exposure, so I'm a little partial to it, but if there are better versions out there, I'd like to hear them. Could you, or anyone else reading this, enlighten me and tell me what TAC stands for?

@NixieSama Lol. This is a bit late (2 months but you still deserve an answer). TAC stands for tenth anniversary concert. People reference it because it was really good.

Also, "My world when she's not there" was disappointing! Haha, I'm pretty much obsessed with the way he sang in the TAC.

@rachel869 Yes! In the TAC version it is absolutely perfect. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to that bit.

I always laugh when Enjolras yells at Grantaire and Grantaire retorts, "Give me a brandy on my breath/And I'll breathe them all to death!" And then Gavroche yelling trying to get their attention like ten times... LOL.

iirc Grantaire is Gary Beach (L.A.'s Thenardier at the time)

I just looked in my CSR liner notes, and they say Grantaire was played by Kenny D'Aquila.

Gary Beach played Brujon (one of Thénardier's gang), one of the drinkers at the Inn, and one of the Chain Gang.

indeed! I love his voice; he is the only good enjolras I've heard, and I've listened to all the recorded versions plus one live.
