Don't forget, the republicans had a higher vote in the 1964 and 65 rights and voting act. Dont forget, that not 1 single democrat voted for the 14th ammendment, and that democrats ran the south after the civil war, and were known as DIXIE-CRATS. They were the ones in the KKK, the racist side of the aisle. Thats who was hanging and dragging and killing blacks and whites that helped them, including singling out white republicans in the south, because they helped blacks.

Well for one, liberals are not for freedom. Words change over time, and liberal is no exception. Freedom means freedom from government. Slavery was abolished by Republicans, women voting rights was always apart of it as well. Education has gone to crap with Liberalism taking over the schools. That's a fact of the past 30 years. Child labor is too general so you would have to get in detail.

"Conservatives" are not conservative. The word means, "Favoring traditional views and values." Our country was founded on opposition to British and French traditional government, ie liberalism. Liberalism IS our tradition. Therefore following the guidelines of the Founding Fathers would be the conservative thing. Then what are modern day Hannity-style "conservatives"?
