  • this movie is a trash and only good thing about this movie is just general lee

  • how many of you paused at 00:27 to stare?

  • jessica simpson is hooooooooooooooooooooooot

  • when i watch a show a lot, i tend to identify the characters with the actors, & thus it's hard for me to enjoy seeing a different actor playing that same part. thus i'm not interested in seeing non-original actors play in the dukes of hazzard. on the other hand, it might be fine to have a movie about the next generation of dukes, in which the new set of actors play as relatives of the original characters,& maybe some of the original actors could make brief appearances as the original characters.

  • Not gunna lie i love the movie and i thank my bro for letting me watch it hell yeah!

  • @SidJustice1 It ina nutshell!

  • Not Bad!! : )

  • AWESOME!

  • awesome

  • sweet vid...

  • 28 Good god

  • This is so awsome, dude, you´ve got a great sense how to make something, what the frenchy´s call a "hommage"

  • AWESOME~!~!~!~!~!! Makes Me Want To Watch The Movie Again, LOl Then i have To Remind Myself It Wasn't As Great As The Show, 5 Whole Stars From me Buddy~!

  • awsome

  • Love it.

I didn't like the 2005 movie much. It didn't stick close enough to the original.

  • :28 Goodness

  • Very Nice!

  • que tiempoa aqueyos muy buena cerie

  • i say it a good editing

  • The movie was definitely funny, but the real reason to watch it is for Jessica Simpson's HOT LEGS!!!

  • yee haw indeed....

  • Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm, Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born. Straight'nin' the curve, Flat'nin' the hills. Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will. Makin' their way, The only way they know how, That's just a little bit more than the law will allow. Just good ol' boys, Wouldn't change if they could, Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood.
  • YEEEEEE-HAAAAAAA !!!!!!

  • close... it's "Beats all you never saw" not ever saw. :)

  • That's correct, it is 'Beats all you never saw.'

Willie Nelson's version wasn't totally correct. The original version from Waylon Jennings was indeed 'never saw'.

  • @DukeBoyO1 Yeah, Willie changed a few lyrics. Including a key phrase. He changed "Makin' their way the only way they know how" to "Makin' their way any way they know how". Changes the whole meaning. Plus, Waylon says "Fightin' the system like a'two modern-day Robin Hoods." Which is just the way classic country singers used to sing.

  • Larry The Cable Guy

    should have been Cooter.

  • @cha5 lol

  • @cha5

    yeah right!

    in your dreams!

  • I never saw the Movie the Dukes of Hazzard. Mainly because to me it didn't look good. Interesting to see "Willie Nelson playing Uncle Jesse" since he not only sang the song for the TV series but was the narrater for it all so.

  • thats right, Waylon and Junior Brown was the only two Balladeers I ever knew.... lol man, most ppl still don't know shit about the best t.v show of all time, (rated with todays trash t.v as well)

  • I didn't know before seeing that movie that Junior was going to be the balladeer... but as soon as I heard the voice I knew it was him. Huge Junior Brown fan... hell you can even hear "my wife thinks your dead" while Hogg is boiling crawfish in the movie!

  • you need to see it! its the best damn movie ever!!!

  • @Astraldragon1 Actually the credit for original theme song/narrator goes to Waylon Jennings.

  • @Astraldragon1 - The Balladeer in the original TV show, was Waylon Jennings, not Willie Nelson. Waylon also wrote and performed the original theme song as well (that is Waylon playing the black and white Fender Telecaster guitar in the original TV show opening credits)

  • @Astraldragon1

    not necessarily!

  • great job man! too bad the movie didn't live up to yur trailer haha

  • Charlie Daniels, Should've Been Jesse!

    This 'il Do For Now!

    The Original, Was Better!

  • Wow, as good as the original!!!! 5 Stars

  • That was soo good. It so has the feel of the original tv series opening. Also I for one liked the movie, it made Hazzard seem like a real place for me. Instead of just a town square set and a lot of backlot shots. Anyway well done.

  • That gotta be Waylon Jennings singin is it?

  • AWESOME!

  • That was really great! Only MC Gainey as Roscoe was the shitty part of the film. It fit a lot more than I thought it ever would. Great job.

  • I enjoyed that!

  • Hell, you should have directed the movie, because it was terrible. These opening credits were better than the WHOLE movie.

  • Ditto that!

  • Well, terible is a big sugestion, entertaining yes,'specially the trailer, but the true about TDOH is that the originel will alway's been beter, like many movie's some rerunn's are okay.. but starts to where out after several month's.

Like grease (toltal diff.movie)1 is a classic two is hmmm pleasant,3 Rubbish.

I liked to directed the movie, die hard duke fan my-self,but i was stuck in iraq at the time it was made, but i'm wrighting 'Adolph's typewrighter' just the script it's jut an idea?!

  • @SidJustice1 I got to agree with you, this may well have been the worst movie ever made. I have to question the I.Q. of people saying this movie was awesome - they probably also married their cousin and sweep up wood chips for a living at the local paper mill in their hometown that has a population of less than 500.

  • Fot those who don't know.

the red baropn is a 1970 ford mustang boss 429 with racing stripes, thir are some rumors that the general and the the red baron are in a move called ''adolph's typewrighter''

  • that's what they should have done for the movie

  • Did you guy's know this:

After the 2005 dvd was recorded, they had a small drag race between the General lee and The red baron,2miles of strait track and they ended as equel.

Cool hú BTW the song rocks.

  • Fuckin' awesome vid, dude. Bravo!!

  • whats the name of the song?

  • Good ol' boys by Jennings Waylon

  • My cousin made this movie

  • Your cousin was in the movie?

  • no he is the director

  • @punkrockgirl157 who was he?

  • Great video with good compilation.

  • Yes I agree should have been in the movie.

  • Wow. This was so good I thought it was the actual intro to the movie until I read the notes :-) Awesome job, man!

  • great

  • good!

  • Excellent!

  • wat is the name of the font???

  • I liked the movie, it wasn't bad. But NOTHING beats the original show!

  • i love it!!!and johnny knoxville 2

  • very very cool. As it should be!

  • that was awesome.

  • good work

  • wow that was awesome very nice work

  • That was incredible! It must have taken you ages to put that together. Even the music was timed right to the clips. A must for real Dukes fans - this SHOULD have been the intro for the film. Well done.

  • good opening

  • m8 that is fucking mint, amazing
