If you were President...what would you do to Iran? On the outside looking in, one can easily say Obama should do something about Iran...but the question is what? Should he schedule some meeting with their leader to ask them to stop, or declare war against them and force them to stop? Do we define leadership as one that is trigger happy or one that tries to work on both sides making wise and diplomatic decisions? We cannot fight everyone in the world. This is not wise. Obama knows that.

What I said above is 100% factual. I'm no foreign policy specialist, but I will say this, I was ok with Obama trying to use a different approach, trying to engage with Iran's current leaders. Bush's in your face approach was too abrasive at times for sure. But after a year of Iran thumbing their nose at Obama and riots in the streets with thousands of citizens being jailed and many killed while Iran boldly moves forward with their nuclear plans and launches missles....Obama needs to respond.

Money, lobbying, religion to an extent. There are books at least twenty to thirty years old or more that explain why things are the way they are now. You don't have to be a prophet or something analogous to understand either. Just read. And oil is a factor, but not the main one. At least I have never believed that due to the power that a few other countries in the Middle East have.
