  • what brand tank is this? and what co2 system are you using? and what is the gravel?

  • This is absolutely beautiful.

I plan to aquascape a 10 gallon breeding tank for Celestial Pearl Danios. The idea is to use a small school of just 5 fish max, probably only 3 (1 male and 2 female), from as many different bloodlines as I can find and use Java Moss (I know that's a must), some form of carpet greenery to hide eggs, and floating plants for fry to hide in. What carpet growth do you recommend that doesn't need CO2 or EXTREME Halogen lighting like I'm trying to grow a mini lily?

  • no filter thats coo

  • Amazing! Wish I had a green thumb :(

  • What gravel do you have? How much money did you spend on the hair grass, also does it grow fast? Do they need the C02? Is there a way to make one because they're really expensive? I have live plants in my tank at the moment, but that's stunning. My tanks 16 gallons, how much would it cost to fill it with the hair grass and dwarf riccia, do you need certain lighting also, can you give some basic stuff on how to look after those plants.

  • Can fish have seizures?

  • @shinigamijesi im not sure about seizures but i know for a fact fish can drown. :)

  • Seriously awesome.

  • Find Out More @ TheExoticFish . com

  • filtration??

  • @FredKiller32 Not sure how much filtration is needed in a tank that is so densely planted. I think the plants do a lot of filtration.

  • how u get dat "grass"?

  • Hey du Denmark guy, you not half bad, I gotto talk to you =D

  • On ne voit rien, la vidéo est de mauvaise qualité

  • This is George Farmers Planted nano? Im styling my fluval edge like it :)

  • This is George Farmers planted nano?

  • ...

  • Do you need to clean the bottom of your tank? With a siphon?

  • is that xmas moss growin?, nice tank

  • no its riccia

  • Does anyone knows the reason aquarium plants turn to slime, pls help thank you.

  • wtf i think it's moss slime ? or you plants are dead

  • i have a problem with a jelly developping over the plants

  • could be a fungus... is it whitish?

  • They don't turn to slime, you probably see slime growing on there, that is a type of algae, just cut back on light and it should go away or you can use that thing that gets rid of algae, forget what it's called, you put it in your water.

  • algol :) although i doubt it effectivally removes the direct cause of algae growth

  • when there is insufficient light and nutrients in the water the plants die and algae cover them when this happen its eventually turns into slime.

  • @commonSagitario Ugh gr8! Thx..

  • inadequate lighting.... no CO2.... if youre using AZOO liquid carbon, its known to kill riccias and mosses... or another reason could be snails snacking on your plant

  • @KucingKayap no co2 or maybe not enough of it... also if there is not enough light....

  • Very nice. WIsh the video was higher rest.

  • I love it... But it's very small for fishes I think..

  • That's the point.

  • Esthetics are truly nice.

But the real art is how to house such small fish in an area this limited. Now even these fishes are limited in their behaviour and living space.

  • Well done for maintaining such a challenging aquarium in such a fine looking way, your choice of what to put in must be very limited. I can only think of neons, harlequins and those tiny bottom feeders as candidates for such a small space.

  • does the plants die if theres not enough CO2 in the tank?

  • what do u need to look after plants all mine keep dying your tank looks great plz respond

  • how do you maintain a planted tank. my plants always die.

  • you have to get a special light

  • That is quite magnificent, how did you get that foreground plant (Clovers or dwarf tears?) to coat the whole bed like that? It really is stunning, great job!

  • looks much bigger in the video lol but its small

  • marine or fresh water?

  • its fresh

  • nice!

  • Nice!

  • Stunning Tank. Very well done

  • Lovely plant growth. What ferts are you using?

  • That was an amazing scape George, do you still run any nanos?

  • how do u get the hair grass?

  • that's an amazing scenery man ! watch my aquarium videos on my youtube page and let me know what u think!

  • what types of plants did you use

  • fishes are co2 producers..

  • how many gallons is 1o litres

  • 1 Gallon is 3,75 Liter.

  • oh but that tank in the vid is kool

  • The tank is about 2.6 gallons.

  • My 4.6G tank is 17L

    ..

  • Hair grass doesn't just rich substrate. I ddon't know about the other plant though.

  • that is soo nice does it have a co2 unit in it?

  • Wow looks much larger than 10L. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Very cool tank. I have a Finnex 4gal on its way for my first planted tank. Trying to get some ideas. Does this tank use much CO2?

  • Nice work. Better than my tanks by far.

  • nice.... i cant see any of your equipment... am i not looking hard enough or do you have a sump?

  • he prolly removed it before filming, it's standard aquascape technique.. :D

  • Nice. First decent tank I have seen so far on here. So many like to brag about mediocrity. At least yours isn't. Good job.

  • do you use co2 on this tank? great tank

  • may i ask exactly what type of lighting are you using to grow your riccia sp. ? also what wattage. many thanks in advanced great tank!

  • can i have ur tank?! IM IN LURVE!

  • The plants are Riccia sp. "dwarf" and Eleocharis acicularis. I got them from Tropica, Denmark.

  • @gf225 nice plants, nice iwagumi style.

  • what do you call the grass like thing on the bottom of your tank?

and where do you get it?

  • Thanks.

I change 50% water every other day and add 1ml Tropica Nutrition+ Liquid. There is also pressurized CO2 injection.

If you search youtube for "Practical Fishkeeping nano", you'll see the complete set up running.

    Cheers,

    George Farmer

  • @gf225 where do you buy the co2 stuff etc? and how much does it run you?

  • @gf225 Its a bit on the tiny size for fish, why not those little mini tropical shrimp? Its perfect for a couple of them shrimp you know. It does look nice with the plants and all, I give you that for sure. Was this to show what can be done with the tank or are you really keeping those fish in there? I mean, you have to change 50% of the water every other day due to the fish ;)

  • what do u feed ur plants, they are gorgeous!

  • they're so simple and sweet, i luv them;)

  • Microrasbora nana.

  • wat kind of fishes are those?
