Come on lets be honest its a bit on the boring side isnt it. We have a million bands churning out generic rock long-view are just another example. Good players, Rob is quite literally one of the most talented people i have ever heard. But its a bit boring, bring back the JOKERS !!!!!!!!!!!

got this album when it was released in 2003 after reading a review for it saying they were like elbow and doves 2 bands which i also think are exellent, i was not disapointed great music superb lyrics. always waited for the 2nd album but it hasn't arrived.......................­......yet i still hope

they are busy recording their 2nd album at the moment.. they had issues with their old label.. so that's why there is the delay.. but soon.. xx

Yeah, it's such a crime that they're not as big as they should be. Although, I'm seeing them at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh next month, so I'm looking forward to that.

I cannot get enough of this band.  You're all dead right,they are so underated. I would choose Long-view over Snow patrol anyday of the year. Fantastic words, tunes and just simply amazing.

I first got to listen to them in August 2006 and I cannot believe that this band with an album like "Mercury" are not given the credit they truly deserve. Imho, "Mercury" alone stands out ahead of Snow Patrol's "Eyes Open" and Coldplay's "X&Y"...Long-view, Embrace & The Upper Room are the most under-rated British bands....
