  • i can swim a 50 freestyle in 46 seconds....is there any ways so that i can improve my time??

  • @katfish1999 train, train, train

  • @katfish1999 flip turns, distance per stroke, NEVER stop kicking. pull as much water as you can when taking strokes. keep you r head down and turn ur hips alot.

  • how do you generate power from your back and sides? I've tried, but I'm not exactly sure how to.

  • only for sprint

  • geez, ask her to come into the fucking pool and swim 1500meters with me, u know her tip fails!!!

  • @Meowws Let's see, she has 11 Olympic medals, you have - a computer in Mommy's basement? It's amazing how many people without any accomplishments in life think that others' are impossible.

  • @Justthoughtidsaythis dude, what are you barking about? why don't you take her tip and go fucking about your pathetic piece of shit swim style. you still fat and swim like a cockroach. swim on, loser~ later~

  • @Justthoughtidsaythis well, if you have that much of accomplishment, why don't you go fucking proof it yourself first you dumb piece of shit!! bet you cant even swim 800 meters straight u cockroach cunt twat!

  • After I watch other videos explaining about 3 styles of freestyle, I begin to understand what myke7621 and h2oaudio meant, i.e body-driven and shoulder-driven style which generally applies to short distance/sprint. Thanks for your explanation, guys.

  • @Lexsoft, what I believe she means is to use the muscles in your shoulders, back and sides to generate most of the power behind your arms as opposed to just using your biceps to generate power. The muscles in your back, chest and torso are much more powerful than just the muscles in your arm alone. So yes, you do use your arms, but the force and power should be coming from your core. Think of paddling a canoe, you use your body to generate power behind the paddle that moves the boat forward.

  • Pull with the body not with the arms ? I do not understand this statement. Does this relate to the phase of catch and pull ? How can swimmer get the propulsion if he doesn't do the pull with arms ?

  • @lexsoft I like to think of it as trying to catapult your body over your hand/arm which remains in the same place in the pool rather than trying to push water back behind you. Water is heavy thick stuff so try to move your body through it rather than pushing it around. Once I got this concept it helped my swimming heaps.
