god, you guys whos experincing this concert probably very lucky sons of bitches. i had only listen to it from a cassete recording when i was in my junior high. these guys rock, specially clapton, cause i know water want clapton play on his instinct rather than reading some note, he hadn't rehearse this concert at all.
slowly the lights dimmed ... as a meteor came crashing through and scared the shit out of all of us !! All of a sudden it was 4:30am aparently we were traveling abroad, when the show ended, I remember there were lots of people in tears, sobbing, overwhelmed with what we all just witnessed, it was amazing. Michael J. from Phx., AZ
I saw this tour in 1984. Phx, Az. The amazing part was the confusion and sense of panic Waters created when he walked off stage after the PF set. He did not come back on for about 15-20 minutes, people were freaking out, most were on LSD, ... the couple next to us got up & left with hundreds of others,
we looked over and noticed that the couple spilled their bag of weed in their anger... we smoked up added to the LSD journey & waited till the neon window screen came on, then slowly ,
i seen this concert at the meadowlands in new jersey. it was brilliant. my friend simon once worked for roger. roger has come a LONG way since then. he is more open and accepting. cheers to ya all! nice job by eric clapton.
He omits this album because it's so damn hard to sing these songs. I bet ya he couldn't sing half of these songs by 1990. He did every strangers eyes in in the flesh tour a couple years back. But nearly lip-synced the whole second half of the song. So that is the reason why... he just can't sing these songs anymore.
I read an interview with Roger in '04 or '05 talking about an upcoming solo tour. He was saying what songs would be played and he mentioned Radio Kaos and other solo records but not Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking. Is there a reason why he omits this album in his performances today?
Mr. tpatgod2007, you are the man. Thanks so much for posting these gems. It's a real treat to see even these small snipets of one of the best albums of the decade. Do you have any Amused to Death?
Best thing Clapton ever did! Perfect

This song kicks ass, well Roger had his guitarist do the song Dogs on his In The Flesh tour so why can't he do the same for this one?

There was a lot of material to cover, and they did Every Stranger's Eyes instead.
