FEAR 2 is barely scary at all, I didn't jump once. Dead Space I was still uneasy playing right near to its conclusion. And the classic FPS Alien VS Predator made me shit bricks on numerous occassions

I'd only put Gears Of War around 5 on a violence scale of 1/10, and put games such as Man Hunt and Dead Space at 10. Doom 3 is a bit gorier than GOW but it's older so not as sharp graphics of course
