I was a DJ at a college Sta. On my regular Oldie/collector show during a fund raising time, I played FFJ promising that when a certain amount was pledged, I'd take her off. It took about 1 1/4 minutes. My show exceeded its pledge requirement for that period. Our schtick was original RnB 78s from the late 30s to the mid 50s. The FFJ 78s from the mid 40s fit right in.

Apparently when she sang "Clavelitos" in her Carnegie Hall recital, one famous actress became hysterical, they had to carry her out. Google for "interview with Cosme McMoon", it's her accompanist or just read about her on wiki. The Carnegie Hall performance was in 1944.
