On a electronics lab, i've built an oscillator out of CMOS inverter, and i tried to to destroy them by an over-voltage, results was impressing, it worked as cold as stone up to 28V, when suddenly 16V-rated cap blow up into my face :| However, circuit remain functioning up to my PSU possibilities - 39V. Nice :}
