is mount baldy really that good? i mean i live right down the street from it in claremont but ive never heard anyone say it "has world class terrain".
@the1dark6knight Baldy is world class back country terrain, but only when it's covered like it is this year (posting in the 09/10 season). Far apart trees, great natural terrain and jumps, very steep slopes, tons of area to explore... it'll just never be considered "world class" because it's a small local resort. Which is great because during the week, there's no one there to run into

love baldy. always end up going during a snow storm. went up in one blizzard 10 degrees outside in May. awesome snow.
