When making the foot if you want it to walk dont you make the foot on the leg layers?

Cool Tut. Just one thing though. I cant get the 'Fill' to work, even with 'Close Large Gaps' checked... Anyone?

You may have more then one open spot or a spot that flash thinks is to large to let slide. If you look at the problem area in wire frame, and zoom in. You will be able to see where your lines re not connecting. Join the lines and that should fix the problem.

Thanks for your help mate. i checked all joints were infact joined up via Wire frame but i still have the same issue. I cant fill the Body or Hair. I am able to fill oval and Rectangle shapes but not anything that has been drawn via the line tool. any thoughts as to why ? Thanks

The only other thing I can think of with out seeing the piece myself is that maybe all your lines are not on the same layer. I know i will work with more then one layer in flash on a drawing to keep the lines from joining when i don't want them to. then I have to cut & paste the drawing together. i sometimes forget to merge lines from one layer to the other. And after few brain farts and wondering why I can't feel in something, I realize all my lines are not on the same layer.

Ok mate thanks. I switched of all other layers to ensure everything was on only one layer. Checked that all lines were touching in wire frame but still no luck. Been trying to figure this for two days, its doing my head in..lol Ill have a look around the net for the answer. bet your last penny that its something so simple.. Nice1 anyway buddy thanks.

@Yaoiloverel After 3 days of farting around i found that if you break apart the object it will allow you to fill. yeaaaa!!

@AutomatedChip Yes, it kind of was. This is however part of the Youtorial series I did a few months back. I am releasing demos of those tutorials, and designing a character was part of it. This one is a little different, more polished, etc. Either video you look at though should give you about the same results.

Do you show how to make a character in all positions (Front, side/front, side, side/back, back)? Also, i'm not "hip" with all of the fancy "lingo" so hopefully you know what I mean :P haha
